6000USD is $7,600CAD. I'm sure the cost will go up once they get past all of the regulations to get a vehicle approved for use here. You're not a long way from the Zero FXS that they say its comparable to. Personally I would buy the California built bike whose company company has been able to hold on for over a decade and has a small but existing dealer network.

Also, they don't mention battery specs which is literally the most important, most expensive, heaviest component on an electric bike.

I think most people would prefer Canadian made. I doubt it can happen at a viable price/performance ratio for a mass market bike. Probably more likely that someone tries to pull off a Canadian made halo bike as a cool toy for billionaires.
