250 riding group

I'd take ur offer but doesn't look like alot of people are going until later so I'm gonna go with them

Just to re-hijack the thread for downtown riders...

Weather permitting I'm going to ride tomorrow leaving at noon from the Ex.
I intend to do about 3 or 4 hours heading north out of the city, looking for open stretches of road, see where it takes me.

I'll be sitting right here http://g.co/maps/dngjh at 11:50, leave at 12 sharp.
I'll post back around 11am if I'm calling it off or not for weather since it will be raining in the morning.
I'm no speed demon since I can't afford tickets and I only have 700km under my belt so take this for what it's worth. I've never led, nor do I know how to ride. I figure it might be more fun with a few people than by myself. Please at least know how to ride.

Whoever shows up we can make a plan of action. Don't PM me. Just be there if you want to go.
 
i would love to join you eljay, but I'm busy this weekend from 9am-5pm :(. If you can, plan another one and I'll definitely join you and I'll bring along my friend.
 
No worries. I ride every weekend that I can. Next weekend it's going to the shop though... but after that it's on.

I ride whenever I can too, weather-permitting. I'll definitely be looking out for your next hook up and all others who plan to ride whenever.
 
OK I'm going; the ground is dry. Only 30% chance of rain and improving as the day goes on. Should be in for some numb knees and knuckles though... hope to see some noobs come join me!

Have to wait until my helmet is dry because I decided to wash my helmet due to the forecast of RAIN last night -_-" temperature should be getting warmer at 3 at its high peak of 11
 
ok so nobody showed and I put in 7 hours of riding by myself... bolton, orangeville, credit forks, erin, square one were all hit. my fingers are frozen stiff. i stopped at a tim's every 30 mins or so to warm up lol.
maybe i'll have partners some time? I'm out with dealer servicing next weekend though.

id like to join a ride, but im having problems with the charging system on my 08 250r. battery is about 12.2 volts. battery seems weak while starting and at idle i only have 10.8 volts charging along with flickering lights. I stored the battery inside over the winter and kept it on a tender. anyone have any experience with the voltage rectifiers ?
 
I think you better go to the tech forum for that one. I'm betting most of us 250 noobs aren't too with it when it comes to actually fixing our bikes lol. Speaking from my own experience.

I'm interested to ride with you guys. From the Vaughan area but I don't mind commuting to go for a ride. I'm free Weeknights/evenings + most Saturdays and Sundays.

Would this thread be the main place to check for rides?
