From my understanding, it's impossible unless you have **** tons of cash prior to being 25. Even when you turn 25, you only have two options: TD (which will still be in around the 2000 range) or Statefarm (dunno, no experience yet).

Even then, I found TD kinda expensive, better to go with Jevco.

Check with StateFarm.
I'm 22 and pay ~$1500/yr on a 2010 GSXR600 (full coverage including collision).

Do you have a muti-vehicle policy / or under someone elses name?

That is the cheapest I have ever seen for someone that age/bike, ever!

Gonna call ********, unless you give me your agents name and number lol

I called them last year with a clean G and insured for 6 years on car (when I was 23). My insurance for a GS500F was still extremely expensive (3000~).

I have my car with them as well.
I am quite a ways away from the GTA area so that has a huge effect on my rate.

Background of myself
Age:21 Male
Bike: Yamaha R6
Area: GTA(North York)
1 speeding ticket

all liability only with 1Million
SF quote $3800
TD quote $5600
Jevco $7900
Facility $2600

When I was 23 i was paying around $1500/year for a 2007 zx6r. Clean blah blah.

It was some sort of loyalty rate with SF because I had my cars with them since I was 16. I called other SF agents and they couldn't come close to what my agent gave me.

I am now 25 and paying $700 for my 2007 gsxr600.

All full coverage in Brampton

So in short move your car to SF and keep it with them for as long as u intend to ride a SS

but you usually have to pay more for auto in state farm, what's your car premium?

StateFarm in Brampton Lorna Down's office has been amazing for me (905) 455-4275. My first bike was a Gixxer600 and I paid $72.00/Month so $864.00 a year with the same type record. Good luck man

thaks a lot guys elton t would it be possible if you gave me your agents contact info, and ive never heard of facility how would i get a hold of them do they have an online site

I'm 19, and in a similar position as you. After doing the research, youre gonna find that Jevco is your best bet right now for a regular bike, but if you want reasonable rates on a Super-Sport, you will have to go with statefarm (because it is the only company which will not charge extra for the "SS" category. You said you're 21..Did you get your G1 at 16? Statefarm requires you to be licensed for 5 years i believe in order to insure you. Since I got my G1 on my 16th birthday, I'm elegible for Statefarm the day I turn 21, which in turn lets me get a SS. Till then its the Ninja 250 with Jevco.

yeap i did get my g1 when i was 16 so thats good news,...when do you turn 21 bro? woops jus re-read that still got two years, where abouts do you live would like to to meet other riders around my age cuz unfortunately know of my bros ride

john duffy or csib - they will both give you similar rates but duffy has the option for 200,000 liablilty instead of the regular 1million from csib

strangely i got off the phone with SF agent today i got a quote of $3820 for a R6 liability only.

I'm in trenton, 23 and pay 1260 a year for plpd with statefarm. I paid same price in 2009 on my cbr 600 f4i. I now have a cbr 600 rr. I do have my house, car, truck, and atv with them as well. They will not insure you unless you have had your licence for 5 years. Just your car licence for 5 years is good. You can be new with bikes. Switching car to them is worth it just for how much u save on bike insurance.

$3000 for your first year of insurance at your age is good.... I paid that for my cruiser at 22.

Saying Jevco is the best isnt the way to go. He needs to call all the brokers out there and all the companies he can and check with them all. You might have gotten a good deal but even living down the block can change a persons rates.

I'm thinking Facility as the best option if StateFarm doesn't want to write it due to age, G licence, no car etc.. Jevco would surcharge 400% since it's a sports model so I would not recommend them for the best rate.
