2021 Honda Trail 125 ABS - would you buy one ?

Unfortunately I don't expect this little scoot to be available in Canada - I would definitely get one. Around $4000 in States, juts buy one and keep it in the crate as an investment :)

Maybe it's me, but if I buy anything with wheels and a motor, it's not staying in no crate.

I'm riding it till the wheels fall off and the motor dies. Then I'll replace the wheels and fix the motor and ride it some more, until it's no longer financially feasible to do either.

Motorcycles are meant to be ridden, not stared at or stored away for the next owner.

Fair point, but I know folks who can easily afford 2 of these just with free CERB money. Buy 2 - problem solved. ;)

Well, if not, our loss.

Brings back memories of my little CT70 back in the early 70's. This would be a great errand / short distance commuter bike or a bike to ride around dirt roads and trails up at the cottage. Dirt cheap and probably bulletproof reliability.

Monkey is offered in Canada but at 5899$🙄
Doubt they’ll be selling many.
The Cub was released in the US a few years back for $3500 and that would have been the bike to have offered here as apart from the Nostalgic market, it easily can work as a Scooter alternative.

I don't think so. My buddy has a 110 with a Lifan transplant. Sketchy at speed. Fine if you're willing to putt around, but if you want to actually ride it....

I would totally get one of these, mainly because I want an older one and can't find an affordable CT90/CT110 Hunter Cub in good condition.

Same with the new Honda Cub. I'd gladly get one, but only because I want an original Honda Super Cub but can't find one locally

Unfortunately the Grom, Monkey, and Ruckus don't appeal to me at all. 🤷‍♂️

It would be a fun second bike for buzzing around the city or the cottage, but not in between. You could probably throw one on a bumper hitch and take it anywhere.
I threw a CT70 in the back seat of a golf before. Needed to lower the handlebars but otherwise no issues. Borrowed it for a summer in uni. About $0.01 per minute in gas. Crazy. Fun to cruise around on. Not at all fun when I took it for a lap of a motocross track.

I've been looking for a good deal on a CT90 for quite a while now as well. Missed out on a beauty for $1400 that was sold in under 30 mins last year, was in perfect condition. Ones in reasonable condition seem to go for around 2-2.5k, and ones that need a lot of work are like 1.5k.

I can't wait for the used bike market to come back down to earth.
