2014 Ontario GTA Photo Tag

New:

Mukala, this has your name written all over it...

For you diners out there, Vincent's Spot is a time machine back to the 70's, maybe even the 60's for 18-27 bucks you get two appys(salad and a hot one) your main(3 or 4 different veal dishes, steak, fish etc) dessert and coffee. Food is excellent and well prepared. Decor is original, staff is nice and attentive. This ain't nouveau cuisine, but it's great bang for your buck. :p

Got my first "hard time" near the last place. Night security guy wanted to know what I was doing parked in front of his small business. After I explained the photo tag game and told him i liked the business he said, "can't you take the photo somewhere else?" Lol, **** 'em then. I thought they were a cool place to buy meat and having people know about them might help business. In his words, "there are so many things going on in the world today, protests and everything. For you to take a picture I'd have to call management and everything." Lol, what? ******* rental cops.

lol technically you are taking a picture on private property so he is right. Would be more of an issue if you were taking the picture with a professional camera without authorization from management. He was defenately busting your chops though. lol

"I want to take a picture with my bike with a neat backdrop. I love the design, as the history reflects and blah blah blah *insert typical hipster rant on a tangent*..."

$50 says he'll walk away before the first minute ends. ;)

I don't know, the look of excitement in his eye suggests hastling me was the only "work" he did last night.

When I was taking the pic of my new tag at the water works in the Beach, a cop car pulled up and asked if I had been there for awhile. I hadnt, literally only 30 seconds, but turns out that a bunch of riders were ripping around on dirtbikes back there earlier and someone called the cops on them. I was thankful that the officer moved on quickly and didnt ask me anything else as I was on a supermoto, which looks like a dirtbike to 99.9% of people.

Most people yes.

But that reminds me of a friend who tried to get insurance for his WR400. He lives in a little town up north and when he called to get a quote he got a woman who was the only person answering phones that day. He was told by her that they don't insure super sports and he assured her it wasn't a supersport. After checking around for about 1/2 an hour she called him back and told him she couldn't give him insurance because his bike was in fact classified as a super sport.

A long and frustrating debate followed. In the end he went above her head and ended up getting his insurance.

Target on Keele/St Clair

I'm glad this was here! Had my fingers crosses that this was the place. Gmaps had an image of this area during construction. Neat lil strip mall, sorta has a Shops on DonMills feel to it. I have to check this place out sometime.

Don't be so sure. The supercops that get put in those kinds of places are mean SOBs, and its either hassle you or spend the night playing flappy bird.

Since we're on the topic of harassing innocent people, here's the NEW TAG:

I'm assuming the rules are to take the shot in the same spot so here's some clues:

And if you've never explore this area before, I encourage you to find this spot(for the tag or for fun). Great twisty road with elevation changes and a nice sweeping turn. Bonus, stay long enough and you'll see some planes land right in front of you.
