WTF

On gtam, every bike, including sport tourers and 250cc race bikes must have as much power as a busa.

Ugh, gtam

That headlight killed it for me. They did put some pretty nice equipment on as standard though.

I'll take the current Gen VFR thankyou very much!

This new one reminds me of a particular suzuki bike...

.... katana anyone??

My only negative would be having a single sided swingarm with a fat pipe right in the way. They should have done something with the exhaust to get it out of the way. I bet it's comfortable as hell and 100+ hp is more than enough for most people that would be interested in a bike like this. Not everyone is trying to break land speed records

Great work for Honda .The VFR800 has plenty of power at 100hp.They are finally getting it .Traction control on any new bike is pretty much a must .

I was hoping they could bring the weight down a little more. Somewhere around 465 lbs would be ideal for me. Then again I haven't been on anything larger than my 650 so I don't know if this is a good weight of 520 lbs for the vfr.....

I'm not really a Honda guy but I think this bike has pleasant looks. I find it more attractive than the cbr. The exhaust can be fixed with a shorty to reveal the nice sssa. I'm not crazy about the honda civic like instrument cluster though. I'd buy it but I'm really digging the 2014 monster 1200s lol

There is still a market for a mid-size sport tourer. Look at the success BMW is having with their F800 GT. It is attracting lots of "mature buyers" and drawing them from existing BMW RT, GS and attracting many others who now want a lighter bike for touring.

However the VFR is more sport focused and will appeal to a younger rider so you will hear the cry for more HP.

Pretty vanilla design. The engine has rumored idle stop technology -no idea how that will work with a manual shift.

My favorite flavor, plain!

Those big baffles allow high air flow and keep noise within regulations for world markets.

Honda actually listened! Most people didn't want/need that pig of 1200.
Yeah, the bike looks a bit generic but VFR is not meant to impress with looks or speed just to be a most excellent touring bike and that it is.

The exhaust is a bit sad, a throwback to the 5th gen. I moved mine up above the foot peg to expose the wheel.

I also hope that this will be in Canada as I will be looking for a replacement in about 2 years most likely and so far Triumph Sprint was the only option I liked.

Im glad they went towards a more 5th gen look, too bad they didnt go back to gear driven cams.
I think ditching the underseat exhaust helped shave off a good chunk of weight.

-...sadly, it appears american honda will not be importing these so its not very likely honda canada will :0(

Yeah, a cross between 5th and 6th. Undertail would look nice on it, I agree. Would also prefer analog speedo but that is rare nowadays. Can't stand digital. Visually annoying and harder to read at a glance.
I'll be depressed if they don't bring it over. Maybe in a year or two. American models are quite often delayed, same with cars.

I'm with you on this. If HP isn't everything, fine, then give it a smaller motor. The engine on this is a dinosaur - VTEC was mildly impressive over a decade ago, but these days everybody is making street motors that do more without its "help". This is a pretty mild refresh, it still weighs a ton, and I will not be surprised to still see it stupidly overpriced. Honda put more engineering effort into the CBR250.

Way too little, way too late, in my opinion. This bike doesn't even LOOK modern anymore.
