Nice hyosung

$2K more than the Tuono V4. And not as cool. Or as powerful. Haven't seen pricing for the new KTM yet, which is also quite a bit more interesting.

I didn't have sound either. Didn't need it as I have a F800GT and looks similar to the rotax in mine, not sure. This machine should be a real weapon if it's even more powerful and agile than mine. Test rode a few of these and they're quite comfortable also if they kept the same ergonomics.

A certain Italian motorcycle is only $12-13k? Thought it would be more expensive.

And why is a guy that does not know how to ride a ****ing motorcycle reviewing a motorcycle, damn why don't i have that job.

Nope. Go price one out. $13695 MSRP (I was wrong, US bike is cheaper) for the current one. New bikes will have optional ABS and the new monobloc brembo calipers (same as on the new MV, the Panigale and RSV4). Never pay MSRP. ;) But also buying a BMW is an experience once you find out the freight, tax and prep costs.

Sort of a half-decent(ish) video of what it's like to ride a Tuono:

If only for the sound it makes. :)

Shaman,

What's the blinky red light over the speedo for?

User-configured shift point light. You can set it to a specific RPM.

More than anything, the turnoff for me here is the typical inline 4 sound. I am simply tired of the sound, having ridden Japanese sportbikes for the past 22 yrs. SInce really, I don't feel the need to have a 170+ hp streetbike, the bikes have to be about more than a spec sheet for me. They need to have an appeal outside of the all out performance limit that you're simply not going to use......so it's sound, feel, appearance etc......It needs to have these things for me to like it.
That's half the lust I feel for my KTM- sounds like NASCAR on crack. The newer R1's sound awesome. Ducati is of course a beautiful sound. Aprilia's V4's sounds awesome. The new generation of triples sounds cool too, and unique. Inline 4's are just boring now.

BMW S1000R
MSRP: $14,700.00

It seems cheaper in Canada, £11500 converts to ~$20k CAD

are there any other comparable bikes at that price range with this many features?

Vat is probably included in UK price. Add delivery and taxes to canadian price
