If u find metal beads in there, it's probably worth alot of money. U can probably sell that as scrap and recuperate the cost of a new exhaust

Steel is more rigid than Al. It doesn't flexes as much. But from a stunter's point of view, I have no clue

After breaking 3 frames on my 03 636 stuntbike, I decided to buy a steel frame for my 09. One of the guys that stunts one here broke his 09 frame even thou it was already re enforced. These steel tube frames are more rigid, so give great feedback, and are stronger...And if you manage to break it, they take welding better then an OEM aluminum frame...And IMO they look pretty damn cool too when powder coated...
 
Why do some ZX have the undertail exhaust and some don't?
Is this just a year of production thing?

I'll let you know what I really think in about March when the dealers have them in stock, I just sold my 04 636 yesterday to put the money towards a 2013....In 08 I ordered the 09 early and had it in Dec of 08, but I think I'll wait this time and try to get a better price when they have them in stock....

I own 2 03/04 636, and a 2009 ZX6R, and have ridden and worked on many 05/06 and 07/08 models.....The 03/04 was my favorite ZX6R Ive ever owned...The 09 is a great bike but lacks the 636 engines power, and thats the only reason I like the 03/04 better....This new 2013 should make it my favorite bike, having the chassis of the 09 but the 636 engine...

some years that was the trend, with other bikes too.

but they quickly learned it created less HP, so they reverted back to the side exhaust (shorty)

03-04 side, 05/06 tail, 07/08 tail, 09+ side
