Hey Guys,
I'm looking to hear some comparisons on these 2 bikes, both in 2013 model.
I trust everyone on here much more than salesmen.
I'm looking at why you chose one of these bikes over the other, personal experiences, and any other general advice.
Which one is the better bike?

STFF! There's plenty of info out there but all you'll get is biased feedback anyways.

Basically other that fit and finish and reliability the 636 trumps the cbr.
 
As mentioned above, you will be getting biased feedback. It's best if you go out and sit on both and try to book a test ride if possible. Go with whatever you feel to be the most comfortable and "better" bike.


What is my biased answer to your question? I'd go with the 636 :)

The new Honda is hideous, gotta go with Kawi.
 
Yep. Fugly is nice compared to what I call it. Friends don't let friends ride green but I'd take the ninja in this instance.

LOL... 30 votes for the ZX6 vs. 4 for the Honda.

The new RR is ugly as ****, I can't figure out what people like about it.
The only thing it has going for it are the new wheels.
 
So I ended up test riding both 2013 models today.
What a huge difference.
Kawi is much more comfortable and seems to be the better bike.
I was pretty surprised at how uncomfortable the 2013 600rr was.

All these ratings are funny. Like comparing gas mileage on super sport bikes for example. Let's see - my Suzuki only does 214km on a tank but your Yamaha gets 217. That's worth 5 points more...

I'd say - consider newer technology but largely go with which bike feels most comfortable - ergos, handling, power delivery. Good that you managed to test drive them.

Comfort! who cares about comfort lol .....Power is what matters to me, and what makes the new 636 not only better then last years ZX6R (600cc) but also better then any of the other 600's this year...

Most tests state a 10-15hp ZX6R advantage over the CBR in power with 3lbs more torque..... With the CBR having around 100 thats a %10-15 increase in power

Yamaha comes closest in HP, but then fails in the torque with the lowest, but the R6 has always been a high RPM range screamer
 
Kawi > Honda = End of thread ;P I would still take the Daytona 675 over the kawi
