2013 BMW C600 Sport Error Code

Hi all,
I have 2013 BMW C600 Sport with 18xxxK on it. Just about a week ago my cluster reset and now not showing right time, or temperature outside.
It shows -40C for a bit, and after driven for 5 min picks up the right temperature, however time cannot be set. I did scan the bike, and it gave me this:

37666 Internal / Hardware malfunction, The fault is currently present.

Bike rides great, except for this temperature and time issue... I spoke to a knowledgeable BMW mechanic, and he thinks it's Cluster problem. I would love to get it fixed, and before I take it to BMW, just wanted to see if anyone else experienced such a issue?

Many thanks!

what could do that other then a dead short from the battery? 2013 electronics can be very complicated but a clock? hard to make that complicated unless it is sensing a voltage problem :geek: whats a 37666 what hardware ?

temperature sensors are also voltage sensing devices, how many temperature sensors does it have?
starting with an O2 sensor.

I am unsure what's 37666 yet, I just scanned it an hour ago. I'll call BMW tomorrow and try to get more info... I do agree with you, it could be battery issue.

So easy to just replace the battery, meter test the grounds for absolutely no resistance and test ride
Sensor failure would be next most likely once the battery and connections are 100%

... check for water in the big connector that goes to the computer control box too, that all applies to most bikes.

It looks like there's only one temperature sensor on C600 Sport...

I'll try to get the battery tested and maybe replaced and I'll update my findings. Thank you kindly for tips and feedback. ??
get a cheap multi-meter and learn to use it, it is way too easy and too cool of a device, to not know how to use one. Toolkit worthy once you do know how to use one ;)

btw if your battery is original 2013 vintage it is almost certainly done, possibly going on to its third.
