I notice they changed to bug eye lamps as they did on the speed triple ... any comments? I don't know if I like it or hate it. It does look more modern though.

I didn't know about this yet... Gonna have to give it a couple weeks and a stop past the dealership for a look to let it sink in.

Stacked slim lines would really look good on this bike...
The bug-eyes are a staple in the Triumph Speed line though, so I doubt they'd ever consider anything like that...

Opinion? Meh. Doesn't do it for me, but don't think it's absolutely god awful either.

It's hard to look at the rest of the bike when your eyes are drawn to those lights.

I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.

i'd ride it~ the lights added more character to the bike

The bike as a whole is awesome.

There are only so many ways to do front lamps and even less ways to do dual lamps like the triples always have. I always liked the bug eyes and these are okay. Given that they probably wanted to do some cosmetic changes to show its a new model, I don't know what else they could've done?!

They wouldn't do square/rectangular lights cuz thats so 80's so they could of broke tradition and gone with a single circular lamp.

I'm considering the Street Triple for my next bike and I don't like the new lights.

The 2011 still has the round headlights. Not sold on the new style but wouldn't pass on the bike just because of them either.

Did not like the bike at all...6'0 200lbs, it did not fit me. Had to take my eyes completely off the road to see the speedo + the handlebars sucked! The GSXR-600 I rode last year was more comfortable!

Don't like 'em - definitely change for the sake of change, they don't look better. Before it was kind of a functional ugly, now it's more of an intentional ugly. I'll take the older one.

It's like staring at a girl's chest while she's talking.
