2009 sv650s - kill switch accidentally and now won't start

That is the weird.
Most Suzuki's (I believe...) have a bridge in the clutch that connects 2 nodes when pulled in fully. It's required to start them (same as kickstand switch when in gear)

I think you can maybe solder/connect them together to bypass needing the clutch in; but I haven't tried it.

Yes, that is a little weird. Maybe it didn't need to be, and the OP didn't try it with the kickstand down, in neutral, with the clutch lever adjusted back out.
