2005 Yamaha FZ6 to 2003 Suzuki GSXR 1000. Will I make it?

I'm in for pics...

(of your new ride, not making that mistake again!)

Do you have a will?

j/k

Enjoy the ride.

My parents said "No f'ing way you're buying a CBR 929, we're not going to pay for your funeral!" (it was my first bike).

I came home with a CBR 929 and a life insurance policy on me, made out to them :D

Nice bike! I love the looks of most sport bikes built before 2000,better graphics IMO and they look so much racier. But the performance of post 2000 bikes is appealing too.

Too bad I can't have both without building it or coughing up for a DUC.

So, I'm hoping that I'll trade my FZ6 for a Gixxer 1000. I have about 13,000km on my FZ6, mixed kind of riding, all in about 8 months. Will I survive the jump to the 160hp monster?

No, you won't survive. Before you even start riding a GSXR 1000, you will die of fear.

1000 supersports kill you even if you don't ride them, that's how insanely dangerous they are.

rip

Just use self-restraint like you did with the 600.

"You live more for 5 minutes going fast on a bike like that than other people do in all of their life."

Your only chance is to install a big bore kit, nitrous, and a turbo and even then you will only survive if you are WFO all the time.

Good luck.
