2002 Suzuki TL1000R shuts down :S

^ nope, its blue/white

btw just a little thought poped in my head... if there is water buildup in the gas tank, could that cause the bike to shut off????????????????

so i just came from the garage,
i checked that power connector, everything is fine

can anybody recomend me a shop to get this done?

i just came from the garage, jumped the wires for the computer
it threw me a code...

c00 = no fault

ill try the kickstand switch bypass, but question is, how could that solve the problem if the bike shuts off in neutral while just standing there?!

I didn't realize that the bike did it in neutral too. That being the case, the kickstand switch is out as the culprit. Will the bike fire right back up after dieing?

before i run to the garage, i wanted to point more attention to something

the bike HAD a power commander on it, with slip on cans
COULD the power commander do something? changeup the settings on the computer? and now the air/fuel mixture is messedup?!?

i unno, i exhausted my ideas

im gonna try to take appart the handle bar switch, maybe something wrong there
and ill bypass the kickstand switch/sensor too

yes the bike will fireup within an instant

once the bike dies, the fuel pump will continue priming for a few sec and then stop, JUST as it would when hitting the red switch on the right when about to fireup the bike

^^ ive checked everything there, the connector is as good as new, no corrosion, everything is nice and clean

I BELIEVE that the PC just changes info going into the ECU, take it out of the equation and it's all back to normal. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

That you're hearing the fuel pump prime right after it dies isn't good from a trouble shooting point of view seeing as it means that the problem has already corrected itself which will make it a hard problem to find.

I like your thought of the kill switch. If it were me I'd take it apart, bridge it, and test it... although that won't tell you if the wire running from it is itself bad. Seeing as your lights, gauges, etc... stay on when it dies then I'm thinking "no" to ignition. I believe the TOS is wired to close a circuit if activated so I don't think it would be there either.

I hate electrical. My TLS went through a period where I kept blowing the acc fuse. I carried a box of them on me for a while until I realized that the horn was grounding out on the frame, but only if the bars were at oh-so slight of an certain angle when I hit a very certain amount of a bump. A little pull on the mount and all was good again.

When the bike's ignition is turned off the code is reset. Can you keep it in dealer mode, and see if there is a code thrown when the bike shuts off?

Bike is idling at 1200 rpm?

ok so im back once more

i took apart the kill switch, no problem there, all wires are completly fine
i bypassed the kickstand, still no change
the TOS is competly fine, i took it apart a few days ago, everything works fine, the circuit gets closed once the ring hits the metal part

i had the bike in dealer mode, rode around, turned it off, turned it on, still the same C00
and yes the bike is a steady 1200-1250

im gonna leave this till tommorow, gonna try to sleep good, and on a fresh head tommorow, go and give everything a nice check once again
and this time im gonna bust out the volt meter, im gonna go buy one tommorow :/

(side note, hey SLAP, how long have you had your ninja 500?? i remember your sig from years ago, and it was always that ninja :P )

Did your bike shutoff on you while it was in dealer mode though? If not, try to keep it in dealer mode until it does, then see if a different code appears.
