2 riders caught by OPP

My brother in law was caught doing 40 over, he pulled over and when the cop went up to him, the first thing the cop said is "wow, I'm shocked you stopped, I was waiting for you to take off" and because he stopped, he only got a 15 over ticket. Keep in mind that if you stop, then the cop might be nice.
lol I am sure the same thing would have happened if he was going 51 over. Cops are great

Obviously there are dangers to it, and the way you percieve it, is common sense, and you're 100% right.
However, most guys that contemplate running dont have any to begin with. ( me included, cause i said i would run lolol )

there would be a million things to think about before even running
did he see my plate ? Do i know this area better than him ?
am i good enough to ride high speed? do i have the balls ?
how good of a chance do i have ? where can i hide out ?

Dukes of Hazzard style !

What I learned from this thread:

Pay for race school to learn to manage adrenaline.
Get a litre sport bike.
Run from cops!

Why do you need a litre bike to run from the cops?

Then apparently you didn't learn what was stated, because my comment was counter to that.

No. I did. Both sides had pretty good arguments. But come on...which one is more fun when you're young? =P Assuming I don't end up being a torpedo through a truck of course.

I once Knew a guy that ran from the police all the time, hell he even would taunt the police by doing wheelies in front of the station.

He would ride through catwalks and through paths etc. anything to get away.

On the highway he would speed up past speed traps to give them less of a chance to read his plate. If he knew they got his plate number he would just stop and accept his ticket.

I don't think he ever worried about radios and helicopters, or if it was daytime or night.

I suppose he was lucky, he never hurt anybody or got hurt himself.

Mind you this was more than 20 years ago and things have changed, time does strange things to people.

I doubt he would try any of his antics these days, maybe he lost his set? I dunno.

Probably just grown up and has more to live for....

Luck always runs out eventually

Back to my OP question. Does anyone know if the guys who had their bikes taken away on a flat bed have lost their bikes for good or can they get them back?

If they were charged with HTA 172, they get their bikes impounded for a week.
