LOL yep...only exception would have been the drivers of #46 which is the lambo. Those guys were cool and friendly.

I guess for the average person its basically to see a glimpse of a super car in real life, doing whatever they do instead of just youtube. I guess it is a rich persons game, since its costs 25k GBP to enter, and I am sure if anyone had this kind of money/power, it would definitely change the way they view money or how to spend it. Money and the things it can do for you in our society does in deed change a person, especially when comparing the avg joe vs multimillionaire...

I think its just an event like any other over the top celeb event.. still fun to see though..

Saw about 20 Gumball cars headed south on I-75 when I was on my way back from Deal's Gap. The black/chrome Ferrari 458 Italia had been pulled over by Ohio State troopers. There was a gang of 4 cars (Nissan GTR, Audi R8, and 2 Lamborghini Gallardo's) running together with GoPro's and a support vehicle.

None of them looked to be going really fast. Probably because they're were state troopers every few miles.

It helped break up the boring drive for me.

It's not a race.. it's a rally!!

When I watched the documentary back in 2k3.. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Now there's a lot more coverage, celebrities, and "rules". It really is turning into more of a parade.

Im convinced that in addition to their stickered-up support vehicles, the drivers have a discreet car driving a couple km's ahead spotting police for them. They knew *exactly* when to speed up and when to slow down.

After all the crap last year, I don't blame them for having scouts. You didn't happen to umm, find, umm, a video on the interent of a bike pulling on some of these cars, did you?
