I should of said 99% of riders wouldnt notice a performance difference.

I will have to agree--yes, it is obvious, thicker part in forks, more rigid, etc. But you must admit that it also reduces the unsprung weight in the front (with the sleeve and internals being the heavier part of the assembly), doesn't it? Regarding the riders who won't notice it (performance-wise), I am still in the 99% group

Good mechanic rebuilt and tuned the engine.
No 2nd gear issues.
