Which part of it wasn't successful? I offered to help you out, pm'd you all you need to know to winterize your bike. I even offered going out of my way to show you how some stuff is done but you rejected my offer and pretty much told me to F off. I apologize if i come off as rude or bitter but...
Forgot to add. I mainly commute so I bump my pressure to about 39psi. I checked my odo I mounted the tires at about 18,000 kms and now at about 36,000 kms so I may have exaggerated by 1000kms. Apologies.
I don't understand how some people only get a season out of pp 2cts. Had mine on since the beginning of 2010 and they're still good for another half a season to a season in 2012.
I ride about 10,000kms per year (did a little less this year about 9,000) racked about 19,000 kms on them so far...
How long are you planning to store it for? I find that storage for less than 6 months won't require stabilizer. I stored my bike last year without any and it started up fine. Waste of money if you're only planning to store it over winter.
the bike in question won't be street legal. only good for go kart tracks and such. It's a 200cc not a 250cc as mentioned in the ad. Stay the hell away from that bike unless you want to invest in a money pit
post a picture of the tires after you've taken them off or have them inspected by the mechanic when you take them off. Buy a used rim off ebay, probably cost less than repairing them.
