A sprocket change on this bike will affect the odometer slightly, so just think of it as a ballpark figure. The odometer reads off the transmission so any change in sprocket or tire size will naturally affect a little bit.
I have an 03 R6 myself. Bought with 32k in October 2012 and i'm up to...
1. Get a uvip whenever you want, they do not expire until the owner changes. They also include a page to use as a bill of sale if you want to. Once you and the buyer agree on a price, shipping/delivery and he gives you the funds, you sign the VEHICLE portion of the ownership and give it to the...
Terrible advice. That's essentially fraud and you'll potentially get screwed over
Even if OP is declared on his parents' policy, it'll be just as pricey as if he got his own insurance because he'll be the biggest risk.
Pilot Road 2's are plenty sticky for the road, are excellent in the rain and i'm near 9k on my rear and plenty of life left. I should easily get to 18k before calling them done.
My bike does see some pretty aggressive riding quite often. No track yet.
As others have said the car could be A-ok or it could have issues all through its life.
You are the only one taking a gamble on this which means you are the only one who can lose.
If the car turns out to be A-ok and you own it for years and years with only the need to do regular maintenance...

If and when I get a 3rd bike I will definitely keep this photo in mind to add to it.
Stock sizes look to be:
Front: 110/70 R17
Rear: 130/70 R17
It looks like you can easily fit a 150 in the rear.
From Pete's, Pilot Road 2's are:
Front (110/70 R17): 122$
Rear (150/70 R17): 147$
Add 20$ for shipping, will take 2 business days to your door.
I had that same effect on my off-road Toyota Pickup's 35" tires. Mine were "weather stress" and weren't a big issue.
For you it's a little different because you only have 2 tires and I assume you are on the street.
I had 4 tires and the truck was mostly for dirt/back roads at low speed.
