having owned a load of yamaha's, and a couple triumphs, i cant say that there is any extra waiting period for triumph vs yamaha parts. there might have been a time when that might have been true, but in the current market, triumph parts are fairly available. if youre looking for used parts...

    Odometers off for motorcycle training?

^^^^^ yea, i'd agree. schools regularly sell their bikes off. a few years back i remember stumbling across a pile of dirt bikes when shopping around, one of the schools was getting a new fleet. they were pretty cheap. no idea about warranty.

    Odometers off for motorcycle training?

there is nothing illegal here. it is illegal to tamper and then try to hide it. but speedometers are removed from accident vehicles and replaced all the time. as long as the information is made known, there is nothing illegal. and they seem to be disclosing everything. also, if its a school...

    Kawasaki breaking ranks?

the january show doesnt have all the deals it used. the savings barely cover the admission price, and there are little manufacturers to look at. if i go to a bike show i want bikes... not bumper stickers, RV's, belts, movies, and sausages. the december show had all the manufacturers, and it had...

is it worth getting an adventure bike for ontario roads?

if youre bouncing between a speed triple and a f800, maybe consider the triumph tiger800... triple engine, has a couple models to choose from. AND the chain is on the proper side of the bike, and headlights arent lopsided. i hate that asymmetrical look.

^^^ agree with everything above. 1 piece and leather is best, but 2 piece leather might be a little more practical/comfortable if you'll be riding around city and using for everyday use, at least then you can drop jacket when you get to where youre going. as for helmet... make sure it fits...
