    Insurance sucks for new riders:(

an m2 will get your rate down. your m1 is only good for 3 months max... so go do your m2, get it, and call places back... do you have a car? if so, throw it under state farm. and you will pay pennies for the bike. state farm rates by engine size. next time... make these calls before buying...

How many KMs are a lot of KMs

i guess i agree with you... i sort of gloss over it in my post... and that putting aside theory, in the real world, you physically see bikes lasting just as long as cars in places with 12 month riding seasons. they do spin a lot faster, they do undergo more stress... but if maintenance...

How many KMs are a lot of KMs

well... mileage all seems to depend on area. in canada we dont get a lot of warm months, and thus, not a lot of mileage in general. although there are those who are an exception to this rule. i'm currently in australia, and winter is approx 20 celsius. however, the average 3 year olf bike has...

cbr250 engine shuts off randomly when clutch pulled in

^^^^ sidestand switch sounds like it might be at fault here. but regardless of that take it back to them and get them to fix it. just because if something goes wrong, its best to have it documented. this way you can point back to problems starting at day one... basically, keep your *** covered

    Are you a "Brand Junkie"?

seems to be a lot of positive reviews on the alpinestars boots. i almost bought a pair, but didnt in the end. the thing with boots, when i look for htem, i try to bend them in every possible direction, and if htey bend in a way i dont want my ankle bending... then they're not a good boot. but...

    decision: motorcycle or car!?

car is 100% the more practical decision here. a bike is a toy... and costs for bike v car... if you're looking affordable then i assume its a smaller compact car you're looking for. a bike will probably burn more gas. and compare oil change costs of $35(car) and $80-ish(bike)... not too sure on...

Triumph Street Triple R vs. 600cc sports bike

a cbr is comfortable by sportbike standards.... but it is night and day to the striple.... -the seat on a street triple is much more comfortable and infinitely more soft -the riding position is upright compared to the cbr's hunched position (like all ss bikes) -narrow low clip ons (cbr) vs high...
