OP, did you ever find out what the problem was? I've got a 2010 GSXR600 and experiencing the same problem.

Has anyone ever parked behind Roy Thomson Hall, in that little corner spot that isn't a real parking spot? The whole parking area is a 'pay for parking and place receipt on dash' type of place but it isn't Green P. I've seen bikes parked here before and wondered whether anyone has had experience...

Lots of us park on Front infront of Brookfield place. There's also a bunch of side streets just E of Yonge that you'll find bikes ... just go for a walk at lunch.
