yes a 1/2 pint would be plenty... I didnt think colorrite sold sprayable paints in anything less then a quart. but napa u can get alot less. I sprayed my entire track bike with a pint

There is nothing wrong with a single stage arylic urathane.. duel stage is not always nessary. most colors can be mixed in a single stage and its not that expensive I bought a pint of porsche white and a pint of orange, with the hardner and reducer for $130 bucks sand once and spray... easy...

I would never buy from colorrite just because of the cost, unfortantaly they have the rights from the motorcycle manufatures to produce their paint.. take a panal off bring it to napa, and see if they can color match it. it wont be right on but it will be close. (unless its a tri-coat color.)...

Pretty much the only company that has exact match is colorrite unless you want to try spraybombs, a quart is the smallest sprayable size, which would give you more than enough... http://www.colorrite.com/

Your right, try it your self. you are unhappy with the tank now, worse case you are still unhappy with it. chances are you can make look better, spraying it with gloss black. If you lived a little closer i could prob help you out.. im painting a bunch of black in the next couple weeks..

The napa in niagara only sells water base tricoat colors, Dupont stopped making tricoat colors solvent over a year ago(so i was told) when i bought paint for my guards red r1(water only) if i could of bought the paint in solvent i would of. I hate spraying water base paint Maybe Nason doesnt...

Seen one on kijiji today that was hit in the front. Side fairings looked good. And same color scheme. Maybe he will part it out. I think he was asking. $1800 for the whole bike.

Body and paint repair in a shop would around 400-600 bucks $70-150 for decals. buying new panels, more than likely be the same price or even cheaper.

I hope that the track will be open.... but i have a bad feeling that it wont be. living in Niagara, tmp was only a 45min drive, now im looking at a 3hr drive. unless i can find something closer in the States...
