No one makes a rider join the TT. No one's twisting your arm, and the riders know the dangers - the majority of them have ridden the course multiple times. When people say they should stop the race, it screams I can't do that, so they shouldn't be able to either.

Kawasaki from what I understood sponsored him. Hence they pay for bike expenses, fees, travel, clothing etc. This does not include insurance; he doesn't work for Kawasaki so they have absolutely no obligation to him aside from provide an image. Racing companies in Canada are just terrible...
