Ontario should make winter tires mandatory.

You'll be surprised by the difference they make. If you did a back to back test, with your car with the all seasons on it, on a snowy/icy day and then throw on the snows you'll be amazed at the difference. My 04 Canyon I had all seasons. Then I had goodyear duratracs (a snow rated all season)...

    painting dirt bike chassis

For DIY and not too expensive, POR15 is a good option. Ill be doing the underside and any suspension parts that I re-use on my trans am restoration with this stuff. Lots of guys use it for the same thing.

    GPS bullets for vehicle chases

Yep, I view onstar as an intrusion in so many ways. If I had a gm vehicle with it, it would be ripped out and thrown in a fire. Why on earth would anyone willingly allow someone to listen to them at any time and have control over their vehicle??

    beware this ho...

Girls rare surprised when I take them out and there is no "act" on my part. Sure, I'm on good behaviour but I'm not attempting to show off or blow smoke up their ***. Too many girls fall for the acts and then wonder why is actually a D-bag. She isn't even overly hot.

$11 vs $27 Rack of lamb

This is the best part of hunting for food. It's pure, free range, hasn't been fed unnatural foods etc. plus it ends up at our local butcher, unless my dad has space in his cooler set up and does it. Nothing like having fresh duck for dinner that you got that morning.

    GPS bullets for vehicle chases

Cops have a hard time shooting a dead still target 20' away with a gun... You expect them to be able to hit a fast moving vehicle using their own vehicle as a launch pad?? Good luck.

hidden camera in the living room?

I live with room mates. I keep all my belongings seperate. If its in the common areas it is likely to be used. If you dont want it used/played with then move it to your room. I have a decent entertainment set up, and when I moved in to this place the guys wanted me to set it up in the...

    question about wheel bolt pattern

If you go to a real wheel/tire shop they SHOULD set you up with the right nuts. Plus, if you use nuts for winter and a different set on your summer wheels, you keep them looking new.

    sick bastards

This is fairly common over there. Few buddies have seen it while on watch at night and a friend had video of his interpreter talking about fun with a donkey. But, it is better than the other alternative, which is also somewhat common.

because, race car thats why LOL

Would love to make it down there for that. Had some guy in Gatineau in a twin turbo supra blow by me at 120 spinning the rear wheels and a little sideways.

because, race car thats why LOL

I know full well this car won't be king of the street, it's crazy what some cars put out stock now. I'm putting in an LS1 over the winter, and once the rest of the car is built up for it I'll be stroking it out and throwing on some form of boost. I just think it will be a blast to pick on...

    Header pipes colouration

Yeah, don't touch it, it's so hot it takes a second to realize that "yep, it's hot". Be a good burn! Polish those pipes up (grey scotch brite then wet sand up from 800gr to 1500gr) and you'll see it will colour like the others. Plus shiny pipes really make the bike look good, they look like art...

FYI: CDN Tire will have Shell Rotella T6 on sale

I use it in both bikes (fz6 and my yz250f). My motor guy who is very experienced and one of the very few I trust runs it in all his race bikes. For the price it can't be beat, considering we change oil every 3 hours or less. Mx bikes run pretty hot, take a lot more clutch abuse than any other...

    Lane splitters take note...

I'm a pretty safety conscious guy. I've seen more than enough bike accidents off and on the road to know the consequences. I see no issue with "safe" splitting and filtering. I've filtered the odd time, I've also "technically" split idiots pacing eachother below the speed limit and holding up...

because, race car thats why LOL

Yep. I'm starting to get in to the car thing, taking an 87 t-top trans am and making it in to a performance car (nobody expects the 80s white trash car to be fast). I'm aiming for ~500whp with it, which will take most cars and 600ss bikes, but there are always these guys with these insane cars...

Biking at St. Williams Conservation Reserve?

Growing up and having the entire area to ride was epic. I don't think I've even been to every hidden spot in there. To ride it legally now would just be a kick in the nuts from what it once was. The best parts are closed up. Used to spend hours ripping through tight twisty sand, fun challenging...

    Bullys Beware...

Last time I was at the range with my .243 I had some fun with my buddies .22. Couldn't stop giggling every time I pulled the trigger. But his rounds were so much cheaper he shot a brick of 500 for less than my 60 rounds.

Practical Car vs Fun Car as a second car! - Sub 20k or less!

Saw one at ikea in Ottawa about a month ago (deffinately was, had a nice exhaust and I was walking right behind it) and another at a Friday night car meet earlier in the summer. Both had Ontario plates. It was on the "ban" list, but it was lifted for some reason. I say it's something to...
