He's more concerned about having to clean the crud off his wheel to stick on new weights.
Not everyone rides a pristine ever polished poser sled like you.
Of course, I don't know where to find centre clip weights either.
Yes. Go and see what's going on. Get an idea of the layout, of both the track and the paddock. Familiarize yourself with the procedures of how the groups works. Talk to some people.
It'll be a nice relaxing day. The day you go to your first track day won't be so intimidating. You could...
Maybe that extra wide crack that caused that sharp bump was fixed last year. Thinking back, I didn't ride Shannonville last year.
The greenery growing in the cracks between 4 & 6 (long) is a little "off-putting" at first, but maybe it takes up some of the bumpiness.
I was running Calabogie...
The sharp bump between 5 & 6 (long track) had been patched. Outside of that, I didn't see anything new on Fabi.
The culvert heave under the front gate has been repaired and repaved. That was nice.
Most track days I've attended allowed side stands, some require it to be tied up.
One of the concerns I been told at tech is that hitting a bump will cause the side stand to move enough that it'll momentarily kill the engine. Possible I suppose, some of our tracks are very bumpy.
I bypassed my...
This has been long discussed. Engine Ice was at one time a race sponsor in the US. Engine Ice was permitted in that series. There was a serious incident after a coolant spill. Glycol coolants are no longer allowed.

Do you suppose the KC or L&L crowd would notice a problem with 2" chicken strips combined with scuffed sliders.
Maybe there's a market for a package deal; pre-scuffed sliders and a set of worn track tires.
You don't ride in any groups that allow passing in the corners, so it shouldn't be a problem.
Which just reinforces the thought that some people are passing where they aught not to be.
You have never been in the same physical place twice since the Earth, solar system and galaxy are all moving through space. . . . Which explains why my keys are never where I left them.
Reesor Rd. in Markham.
One Room Schoolhouse
It was painted and converted to a home for a while, but hasn't been used as a school since the mid 60's. As a school it was red brick.
John Bickle does have an import set of warmers available now. BRP Tire Warmer
I bought a set at the track early this year when my regular set broke a wire in the rear warmer. The Bickle imports are fine. The wire grid is a little tighter than most, meaning a more even heat and get to just about...
This is true. During the ice storm I ran my (ex) in-laws house for three days on my Hyundai 2000SI. It ran the refrigerator, furnace and a few lights. Starting the refrigerator took the most load but was never a problem. Running the microwave (750 W), kettle (1000W) or toaster oven (900 W)...
Shady for sure. The frame is there, but not available, he won't sell the complete bike.
And, insanely over priced. He's not selling gold bars, these are used and crashed track bike parts...
The CBR is a much better way to go. If $ 300 is deal breaker on a $ 1600 bike, track riding is not the right hobby for you. You'll spend a LOT more to get either ZX to where that CBR is now.
