    Head Gasket Blown R1

If it got hot enough for the head gasket to leak then there's probably enough damage to go the replacement route. Without a complete disassembly there's no way to know the extent of the damage. Best course of action is to have a shop confirm the leak is from the engine and have a listen and...

They'll find out the information anyway when the credit report is run. It's a matter of honesty.

    Head Gasket Blown R1

You rode the bike with a blown coolant hose home. Then I assume to Rosey Toes as well. Hose was replaced and coolant is leaking from the engine = no point in tear down. Find a used motor (as per Ken's recommendation) On another point ... why would you say you're not going back to Rosey Toes...

    suzuki drz400s, opinions?

Great bike, does everything well but excels at nothing. It would be a great beginner bike, my only concern for a beginner would be the height of it might make it a little difficult to manage. When I have dirt rims and tires on mine I have to slide off the seat to put a foot down but I'm short...

    Gun Clubs

Agreed, it's an auth to transport. Locked glovebox of a car is ok, out of sight in a car without a trunk is ok or in a trunk is ok but not in a backpack on a bike makes no sense. I think the issue around public transit would be reasonably direct route, public transit isn't reasonably direct to...

    Gun Clubs

I'm not sure of the legality of transporting a restricted firearm using public transit. It's something I would research prior to entertaining the idea. A LTALL stipulates where the firearm can travel to and from and I don't remember any specific rules around the mode of transportation in any of...

    Gun Clubs

I think you're going to have a tough time finding reasonable public transit to most gun clubs. There's one at Lakeshore and Dixie but it's only open on Saturdays. How much is a zip car rental? Depending on how often you want to shoot that might be a good option. Or find a friend with wheels how...

    Intalling Rearsets

A pressure switch will work fine. Axle grease works well too, just a light smear of grease. Don't forget to use blue locktite on everything, rearsets do loosen off over time.

    Rust proofing a new car?

5 years is the lowest all manufacturers provide on perforation ... BMW is at 12. Perforation means the car has a rusted hole in it, it can / will still rust. The best rust protection you can get for a vehicle is either the Krown or Rust Check products. They are very similar products that are...
