Sorry, I meant without. I've gone with GWB and it was good. I'm just wondering if it's worth going while they are not there as they won't be back there until Aug 1/2 again.
Most people started to pack up around 230/3 when the wind started to give canopies a hard time and drops were coming down. Not bad considering it was suppose to come down at like 1pm.
Will be there on Sunday, debating if I can handle also a Sat. My girlfriend can't join on Sat and if anyone else is going alone let me know we can help each other out with rear stands and whatnot :)
I was charged 150 for some light rash on the front cowl. It was explained to me it would need to be sent to the -painter- to redo the whole thing and not just the spot. Your policy and mechanic must not be on the same page.
I was also charged 30 for a new screen because one tab broke off on it...
They will charge you the full 150 to repaint it if you even scratch the fairing a bit (no breaks). I know cause it happened to me. That's something I'm not very happy about with them. But they also don't want to brand themselves with crappy beater bikes so I understand that. But no they don't...
I thought it would be better to use the phone's G and lean? Why use external GPS for that? Is this something you have to set before, or you mean just select which data to extract after the fact?
Just wanna let people know that the RAM steering mount can fit right under the dampner. Make sure when you cut the rubber the whole assembly drops in. Then make sure you spend a while tightening down on the screw in order to crush the rubber well to secure.
Securing it under the seat makes sense then (I'd like to see the gyro). I'll find some space behind my battery or something and save money on mounts. I'm going with the Qstarz BT-Q818XT as it's $100 tax-in locally form canadagps.com in case anyone is looking for one as well.
I had thought it...
That's pretty crazy. I'll just keep it simple and put it into my pockets. I thought for the lean angle and data to register you'd need to keep it pretty secure or something. Thanks again!
