I guess I gotta take the good with the bad, I recently snapped a 1/2" Stanley ratchet and mangled a 3/8"as well (same day), emailed them with warranty questions/concerns, they asked for model info, shipped me even better ones for free.
I've had a Cardo G4 for many years and it just always worked, step back a few months ago while planning a 4 day Algoma trip with 2 other riders and we decide to all get Packtalks, 2 bolds, and 1 slim (mine).
Hit rain the 2nd day in unit dies and is dead for 1.5 days (while it drys out I guess)...
Like anything, there's good and bad, and I actually had a good experience this past weekend:
Was on the bunny trail, bit of a blind corner, as we came around and the road was straightening out, the leader of a "bike-group" (riding the opposite direction from us) had his left hand out and down to...
I don't really get the big rides/meetups, smaller group of 3-6 is perfect, everything is easier, setup, gas, foodies, more riding less standing around....
I did see the mail, checked the dollar amount, frig, the same, went back to sleep....didn't check the dates for $ withdraw.
Also, I didn't see my "sucker - forehead sticker" in the envelope...I'll check again.
This just happened, greased that F'er back up and all good :)
I even ordered a new pulley thinking the current one had a siezed baring, imagine my surprise when I found out there never was any type of bearing.
New part is sitting in the drawer.
The old style would allow you to "tilt it over a bit", and you could pop the pump off right from the bottom (gotta empty all that water fist of course, well as much as possible)
