Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

Re: Citizen’s arrest - do Toronto cops need more training? The dude didn't get arrested for assault? I'm shocked.

    Rob Ford R.I.P.

That's an understatement. Anachronistic vehicles with 19th century technology. A few weeks ago I was several car lengths behind one on Dundas W when suddenly huge sparks burst overhead. Something shorted out and the streetcar started catching fire. As I drove closer, the overhead live wire was...

    Ghomeshigate

Last night on The Fifth Estate, Lucy Decoutere was interviewed post trial and she came off as an absolute flake. Selective memory, convenient amnesia and changing her story to suit her needs. I can see how the judge saw her as completely lacking credibility.

    Ghomeshigate

Dangerous days when these professional victims are constantly moving the goal posts and lowering the bar for what constitutes sexual assault. What the women thought: Jian is a freak but he's connected with all kinds of talent agents and higher ups in the media world. It might be worth it to go...

    Can anyone help with title/ownership?

The fact that the bike has a UVIP means it is in the MTO system. Go to the Service Ontario and just say the ownership was lost. You may need to try a few offices before you find a clerk who doesn't care about it's history and print you new papers. I've done this several times. No one gets...

Bye Bye Tommy boy Ford kicked out!!

Rob Ford didn't daintily sip life from a teacup, he gobbled it in huge chunks unlike all the other stiffs at City Hall. And for that I salute him, a man who loved life and served his people the best he could. Number of effs given: Zero.

    TV shows currently watching

11.22.63 is amazing. Based on a Stephen King novel about an English teacher who travels back in time to save the assassination of JFK. Watched the first 2 episodes and I'm so hooked. Most of it was filmed around Guelph. Highly recommend.

Some sanity still left in Canada!

Social media can be a weapon in the hands of idiots. My absolute disinterest in Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest etc. will be my salvation.

Goodwill - All 16 locations closed

Think of all the obsolete technology that got dumped at the Goodwill and the disposal cost. How may CRT TVs were dropped off when flatscreens took over? Probably thousands. And VCRs, DVD players, VHS tapes, computer CPUs/monitors, etc. That definitely ate into profits.

    Ontario tire recycling fees. WTF!

I just got a good set of 18" Dunlops mounted, balanced and installed with old tires disposed or $220 all in. I'll be happy if they last 50k which they should.

The Gift, a nifty little thriller that was not very predictable. I thought it was just another stalker film with a big battle at the end but it wasn't. Recommend.

    Ontario tire recycling fees. WTF!

Yes, buyer beware. Check thoroughly for cuts, plugs, patches, pliability, bead damage and obviously wear. See date code for age and stick to major brands.
