Thats the problem - i did exactly as you suggested and i posted what i was told - they just do coating - they don't know anything specific about motorcycles....
hi all,
looking to get my swingarm coated this winter, and am looking for a shop (niagara to toronto areas) that knows how to do them.
So far i've been told that everything gets coated, or i need to remove what i don't want coated.
Do i need to remove bearings? Does the adjustment area need...
I went to greece in aug - you're required to get a pcr done and its good for 72 hrs before departure. (you need to get on the plane by that time)
The airline wouldn't allow a family to check in because theirs was beyond the 72hr mark.
There may be an element of danger that could result to the public from doing those things on your driveway - burnout goes out of control and bike flies into the roadway or someone...
I never understood the fill while upright thing some riders do...
"you get more gas in the tank this way"
I can't imagine filling is easier this way either.
But i suppose some are just destined to split hairs on aspects of their lives because the reasoning is "better" somehow.
I always call my insurance the moment the bikes leaves my place and advise its no longer in my possession. That's it. I can't make the new owner switch the ownership, but at least insurance knows that VIN is no longer mine.
I figure that's why store prices are so much more than online - you get convenience of instore assistance, including trying things out. Online, you save a few bucks but there are a few tradeoffs. Time and convenience being the biggest ones.
Sorry to hear about the experience, but i'm kinda...
i store my bike by rolling it onto Styrofoam squares just to keep tires off cold surface, and unless you're totally sealed for sure, i'd prep for rodent invaders - warm space means they're potentially moving in?
i got a set of these - mind you i'm on a cruiser so they 'fit' more, but they're nice because of the varying sizes - i move my hand around on the grip so it feels different when i want...
hell even if a buddy would let you, park in their backyard and locked with a huge chain or many aircraft cables to something else. at least there, its out of sight and locked up and covered.
with all the rights activists about being pulled over and invasions of privacy etc, i wonder how many ppl who advocate digital copies of their information would actually give a cop their phone...
if mice are a problem in your garage, you may want to actually give them a box or something to build a nest in - once identified that they're using, then you can take care of the issue. they're hiding in the pipes cuz they're looking for somewhere warm and dark to shack up in....
stop paying - i'm sure they'll start calling you.
Heh, I remember doing that back in the day for my rogers cellphone. After not paying a month or two, when you used their service line, it'd automatically transfer you to an agent and you could circumvent the line to complain about everything...
Unless you were racing or riding so much you did tire changes yearly or less, i'd see no benefits to owning a tire changer, let alone even thinking of doing it yourself...
It's not a cool tool where you can store it away easily.
I"ve seen setups that lock into your truck's tow 2" hitch that...
When i visited shanghai couple years ago, EVERYONE was on an electric scooter - there weren't any gas powered ones and they had curbed off ebike lanes that were pretty much one car lane split in two (two way traffic).
I wonder if you are required to have a license for one there. They're...
