Right lane is often the fast lane these days. If you're being passed on the right it usually means you are in the wrong lane.

That books is free online and passing on the right is completely acceptable in Ontario if not absolutely required.

I read a post on here a few years ago of a group charged with stunting for doing that. Think they beat it in court but you're still out a couple thousand for that charge even if you win.

To be fair even the laws contradict each other sometimes. For example speeding to pass is illegal (speeding charge) but passing too slowly is actually even more illegal (stunting charge).
