Ok thanks for the info. AT was the only one that came up in a Canadian search besides a place in Halifax. I'll look at Maxon but iirc they're UK based.
Reason I asked is that my son's Versys shock is leaking, the '08 R1 shock is a relativey easy upgrade for it and there's a local selling his...
I just ordered a Scorpion XT9000 Carbon Trailhead. GP Bikes had a really good price, better than US with conversion.
I was shocked when I checked my Bell Star RSD today and saw it was 2016. Damn thing still looks new. Going to miss that Panovision photochromic shield though.
Thought I'd end this thread with an update, He passed his M2 exit course and we found a nice 2010 650 Versys with 32k that fits him well. The previous owner, a senior, was unable to ride it anymore due to health issues.

Sorry to hear about the rider. Used to hang out with cops. Biggest bunch of piss-tanks out there, and the culture of drinking and driving still prevails.
I'm no traffic engineer, but maybe it's to see if there's an average decrease in congestion. Eg. get the cars to the destination sooner, less cars on the road at any given time.
