It will be interesting to see how corrosion develops. Stainless attached to normal steel has a chance for galvanic corrosion (especially with salt water added). The coatings and adhesives may be enough to prevent that (assuming they were properly and completely applied).
Everything I can find says this is a non-moving violation and therefore shouldn't affect insurance. I don't see demerit points for that charge either. Fwiw, demerit points do not matter at all to most people. You have lots and the hit only lasts two years. They are an issue for the worst of the...

Keep discussion in Shamans thread. No need for two on the same subject
There is a lot he has confused in his head. He keeps talking about "digital" vehicles being substantially different and the exoskeleton that is held on by a few 13 mm bolts and all parts can be moved. Umm. That's not an exoskeleton, that is cosmetic.
Firing from the top (who probably have contractual golden handshakes) while giving them no ability to deal with obstructionist union probably just costs more money. Sadly, many of our public sector institutions need grenades dropped into them. The rot and malaise is so ingrained that it is...
Hamilton police release report that there was an exchange of gunfire with an armed suspect and suspect and cop are in hospital. Suspect dies. SIU gets involved and says suspect was unarmed and two cops were shooting. Suspect is black. Not looking good for the blue line...
It has been a long time but when I got a ticket that could be resolved (failure to provide proof of insurance as I had an expired slip with me), I faxed info to police station and cop cancelled ticket without involving court officers. My suspicion is the ticket never actually got filed. If I...

There is enough evidence on that tape that she tried to pervert justice for personal gain that she shpuld be terminated with cause for that alone. The dui is just icing on the #%@$ sandwich.
Given the overhead that every government agency piles on, it would be cheaper to put in the private atms like every convenience store and if there was justification for no cost, have taxpayers eat the service charge. A few service charges a day will be at least an order of magnitude cheaper for...

I've never heard of cn police writing tickets off of rail property. On rail property, they are pitbulls and you don't want to mess with them. I had legitimate business and was a contractor to rail company and they grilled me for a while before letting me proceed.
