    Hot tub anyone?

I'm no sauna expert, just use a lot of the ones at Goodlife, and once you get over the general questionable cleanliness (or not care), they definitely vary in heat levels. I use them 4-5 times a week, and I normally don't start sweating until 15mins in, and after that, it becomes the...

    Hot tub anyone?

How about a 0-maintenance required infrared sauna? Obviously not as nice for a "group activity", but as your self appointed forum-sauna-pusher, it is my duty to proclaim its benefits to a hot tub. See some cheapo ones too from CT sales and on kijiji, much easier to DIY, operate, and a shower...

    Getting ready for the season

Hopefully, I'm not coming across as preaching, that's definitely not what I wanna do nor do I have the energy to go back and forth with such. Just listing my '1-step back' from real actual IF. I've been doing the 2-meal-a-day, ~6 days a week, for the past 4-5 years and I loooooooooooove it...

    Getting ready for the season

You sound like a competitor, so I presume you are eating wholesome foods and not crappy frozen food meals. What's your breakfast looking like? Personally, while I love breakfast/brunch foods, I love dinner more and I cook what I love to eat, and furthermore, something I can eat for two days in a...

Wheelie rider caught on tape in TO

Once I have dependents, I think I'll have to sell the streetbike for a dirtbike/drz and ride year round locally. Madman made me smile while driving the 401--pretty sure that has NEVER happened before.

    Coronavirus

Petri dish issue aside, I bloody love RCI ships. Their food, service, nightly entertainment, 10/10. Highly recommend their european cruises if you have never been over the pond before. See 5-7 cities in just over a week, and discover which areas you'd love to go back on a slower pace. Will...

Wheelie rider caught on tape in TO

Caught one on my dashcam this morning on the 404/DVP Southbound onramp fork shared with 401W. Popped a wheelie while it was SNOWING! (quite hard at 7:20'ish am) Ride safe friend!

If you could have one bike...

Very happy with my 5th gen VFR. Might have to shelf it and pull the ex500 back out or get a regular dirtbike for the mileage I'm anticipating the next few years... can no longer justify the insurance rates to mileage ratio.. T.T

Uncut Gems on netflix was pretty good.

    Tow Truck Turf War

That's how I understand it. Did NOT know/hear of the "CAA will not tow from the scene of an accident" before. From CAA: Roadside Services Guide I've saved the bacon for a few riders on group rides/randoms on the side of the road. Bit of a wait, but always coming through with a beautiful...

Help Me Choose a 3 Week Route

With that timeframe, as much as I love the west coast elevation, I'd probably +1 to the Florida/east coast. Love the elevation from South of West Virgina through to South Carolina. If you're ever in the SC area, I have a wicked airbnb recommendation for a couple that runs a BnB atop Jonas Ridge...

    Missing riding .... :-(

What was the nature of your injury/surgery? Between my relatives and I, we probably have 3-4 braces for post-acl surgery up for grabs. (in York Region) Looks similar to this: DonJoy X-Act ROM Knee - OrthoMed Canada

    We had the talk.......

Amen to that last part. The biggest "MC safety" reason to do IF is the lack of a "crash / food coma" after that big lunch. You know the feeling of being slightly off focus with droopy eyes and a strong desire for a nap? None of that when your body is not kicking your digestive system into high gear.

    Getting ready for the season

I'll echo the IF recommendations. I don't quite do it properly with 16+ hour long fasts. I eat last night's home cooked dinner for breakfast at 630am(biggest portion), and dinner after 630pm. No need for additional food during the day (oatmeal if I do), but I do not hesitate to grab a doughnut...

    We had the talk.......

It really is. I'll add intermittent fasting if your mind and body are up for it to maximize hours on the road. I wake up before dawn, wolf down a huge breakfast (last night's dinner), empty the body's black water holding tanks, and can ride nonstop until 6pm with nothing but gas/water/pee...

    We had the talk.......

If electric dirt bikes will become similar to what EV's are like, meaning low maintenance, just "gas and go", that's music to my ears. Maybe not this first round, but hopefully in 2-5 years when the second or third iterations are being produced, they will really be refined and reliable enough to...

    We had the talk.......

Similar situation to yours. When I got married, I told my wife that the bike is off the books, and not for discussion. AGATT Make sure your accidental death insurance is reasonable. ($14/month) The main concern I have with pending offspring is the "half in, half out" situation where you: - have...

New Ninja 250RR ( 4 cylinder engine) vs CBR 650R

Very limited numbers probably mean difficulty finding non-shared parts or waiting significant time for it to be delivered. Certainly difficult to get parts once they exit production. Once upon a time pursued the idea of a grey market 4-cylinder 250cc bike, but that was a carb'd bike with...

Who's still riding? (Fall & Winter 2019 Edition)

Hardcore bro, doing hardcore stuff. I wish insurance would allow me to keep both bikes on the road--I couldn't be bothered to take my super clean VFR out and my ex500 only has fire/theft. Back in the day, my ex500 would be sujected to all sorts of brine and salt in December and causing chaos on...
