    My Ridgeline

Get the NB if you fit. LSD is always preferable, and join the local autox/track days and become part of the brotherhood/cult.

    Amsoil Preferred Customer-Question

Feel free to delete if this is against any rules, but I place an order 1-2x a month during the warmer seasons, happy to help local folks to the 404-401 area as a PC member. Not here to pay for a boat on the backs of GTAM here, but due to covid, requesting EMT payment deposit for 50%, and...

Who here wears an air-bag jacket/vest as im looking for advice on buying one

This is the internet, say what you want and disregard any hurt feelings (within reason). I like this tech, just feel like I'll wait for the 3rd generation tech to iron out the bugs and come at a more affordable price level. That or wait for a Chinese company like xiaomi to come with their...

    Your Reciprocity stories here.

No real story there, but over the past 3 years, I'm observing that my CAA allotted tows have been used primarily for others in times of need more than myself once I started riding a good ole VFR800. Happy to build up that good karma for the day my stator/rectifier breathes it's last breath.

    507 not like heaven.....

Appreciate the update, have a cottage booked later this year out that way and was wondering if it was worth the 1.5hour detour for 507/504/620 "morning coffee" with a few other riders. Anything else worthwhile in the Cobourg area? 118 is nearly 2 hours away :/

Elliptical Machine Purchase - New or Used? What to look for

Do consider an airdyne or some sort instead. Tougher, harder, marginally less floor space as well. Picked an older one up off kijiji a few years back for $50. Cleaned up the chain, put some bike lube on the chain, been working flawlessly since.

    Coronavirus

Anyone been by Louanne's Fries by 10 Sideroad in Georgetown? Closed Tuesdays, I'll try to call them tomorrow off the google number.

Apr 25th riders voted with their wheels...time to ride.

Looking mighty fine riding weather today. And with the incoming few days of rain, I WANNA HEAR LOUD PIPES AT 404/401 (jk, please no WOT rips after 10pm)

    Motorcycle Camping Tents

Check out MEC/REI's used sections and swapmeets as well. When travelling by bike, saving ounces in weight with the uber $$$ ultralight tents is a bit wasted.. that equipment is for the fanatics that are hiking hours/days/weeks/months in elevation and distance where it really becomes "somewhat...

70-Year-Old Guy Out-Rides Me In His Trike (Can Am)

If you fellas like long rides, allow me to ask you one question: how close to reality is the potential of relocating to somewhere with more "2-wheel friendly" landscapes? Or how often do you visit friends in those states with 2-wheels? I've been on a pretty steep "depression" for the state of...

    COVID-19 potential restrictions on riding?

Quite sad that there MIGHT be the odd snow cloud / overnights below freezing in the nest 7-14 days that may undo all the cleaned tarmac from the rain this past week.

    Insurance Refunds from Desjardins

I'm giving it a few more days to see what the general offerings will look like from other insurance companies before emailing my broker (suggestion taken from my thread). 15% on a single vehicle policy is a start, hoping for much more on a policy with many 'recreational' vehicles.

    Anyone into gardening here?

BUMP What is everyone up to these days? Perched up in the sky this year, and I'm jelly of all the nice dark green grasses (if south facing) on my street here in midtown. Any recommendations for produce that MIGHT have a chance of growing on a balcony that only has north and eastern exposure?

    Cruising during State of Emergency?

A suggestion from the vanlife-ers on youtube for #2 on the go: Home depot 5G bucket with garbage bags. - That's the bare minimum, RV toilet gels if available, kitty litter sawdust if not. Relieve yourself anywhere (you deem appropriate)! Can go dumpster diving for a toilet seat too to take it...

For those without pinlock what do you do for anti-fog ?

HJC's + Pinlocks have always worked for me. Also used the above combo during outdoor rain karting a few times oh I've also used it while snowblowing in the winter with success. Not sure how some are overcoming physics... ya'll must be magicians.

Writing off the season? Any recommendations to downgrade insurance coverage?

YMMV, but due to having 2 bikes on the policy for the past few years, Allstate has allowed me to put one bike on fire/theft so long the other bike remains plated and insured for the road.

Writing off the season? Any recommendations to downgrade insurance coverage?

Hi folks, I am contemplating a call with my insurance company as I certainly will not make the most out of my coverage which is currently covering 3x 4-wheeled vehicles, and 2x 2-wheeled transports. Might swap out my vfr to fire/theft only and bring back my ex500 from hibernation (ex500 has...

Urban Gear vs Long Ride Gear

Not much to add but do consider visiting Revzilla in Philidelphia if you're ever out that way. Gear heaven/overload. Check out Kijiji too, found a full set of Dainese upper/lowers after keeping an eye out for them after a year+. Found my size/style at a Dainese store in Italy and snatched them...
