I turned into the left tire track. My best guess is either I added too much throttle too soon and didn’t correct it before the tire slid out or I hit a slippery patch and didn’t correct it in time
My bad on the poor wording of some of my comments I must add I posted this like 10 mins after the accident I was still shaken up. I’m not putting the blame on road conditions (they may have contributed to the outcome but weren’t the root cause) I have gone back to the site twice and tried to...
It was my poor wording that did me in I’m not the type to just say ya bad luck and leave it at that. I’ve been back to the crash site twice and tried my best to deconstruct the accident from the moment I entered the turn to the moment I lost traction to the moment the bike stopped sliding
My bad didn’t mean to make it sound like I was kicking all the blame off myself I just went to the crash scene for a mental debrief and there was a lot I could’ve done. My best idea of what happened is as I exited the turn and started to speed up to road speeds I hit a wet or oily patch and...

Actually just did that and got a pretty good idea. What happened was once I straightened up out of the turn and started accelerating. Looks like the tired skidded a little but before I could correct it I had already added more throttle and it slipped out from under me. Definitely easily...
Smart thankfully nothing major is damaged and at least makes my conscious better knowing I wasn’t trying to push my limits or do anything reckless just had some bad luck on my cruise to work
I too am very hungry so I could go for a slider but ya low side crash thankfully left side of my bike doesn’t have as much stuff sticking in it so other than the coolant line I think that’s about all that needs actual fixing. I’ll do the clutch and bar end myself. Might need to get the beauty...
Ya I hate taking time off especially in today was going so good I got up early gave myself plenty of time had a nice breakfast. Definitely banged my elbow on the way down I was wearing a jacket with elbow pads but that still definitely stings. Already took a Motrin so gonna just lay down...
I can’t be too mad about it, I wasn’t driving stupid it reckless just some bad luck. Only part I can really put on myself is choosing to take it out when the conditions were poor. Thankfully my friend was at the same stopsign as me turning the opposite direction he saw it in the rear view came...
Ya it’s pretty slick here I honestly should’ve kept it in the garage for today but I guess what’s done is done. All I can do now is deal with it. Already contacted my friends so they know I’m alright and my boss is letting me take the day off to get myself situated. Just kinda sucks this...
Hey guys on my way to work today I had my first slider. Back tire slid out from under me just after making a turn slipped out from under me. I’m alright a few small scrapes, I had my gear on so that limited the damage. Bikes alright I was able to ride it home but looks like I might’ve clipped...
I
very rarely leave the house for a ride without gear unless it’s a short distance at slower speeds which I know can still cause damage but I’ve gotten road rash in the past going 30-50km/h it sucked but wasn’t end of the world. If I’m going to work or on the highway I pretty much always wear...
* insert long paragraph about others having the audacity to care about my safety. How dare they be good people and care about others * the autism in me feels like I gotta add a sarcasm tag to this
Is barefoot an option Jk jk trust me I am no squid lmaoooo I got 2 jackets pants, riding shoes (will get boots when I get the cash) this was more for a photoshoot and going for a quick ride around with my friend at low speeds
as for the phone mount just need it for my gps but I’ve found recently it’s easier to just keep my phone in my pocket with audio call-outs on the gps. I just have it in case my comm system dies on me
