Ah well we managed to not strip it this time but I’ll bring a 10mm with me thanks for the heads up we just wanted to get it tightened for the mean time
It’s a socket wrench with a Philips head bit thrown on it buddy gave me the wrench to keep as I’m supposed to go on a big ride with @sempre1. Still gonna go on it but if anything happens I’ll focus on the lead. Fingers crossed for me lmao
Rpms and voltage are stable now not bouncing around and the headlights flickering. Bike starts perfectly no issues so I believe I fixed the issue. Also the bikes electronics were inconsistently starting and the voltage when tested would randomly switch between perfect 12.5 without it started...
Immediately yes. Also rpm and voltage stabilized it went from jumping between 1500 and 2000rpm randomly and the engine sound like it wanted to die. And the volts were bouncing between 13.5 and 15.5V. Also once I got it started before we knew about the battery lead it kept losing power while...

Also should mention what I believe happened is that because the lead was lose the voltage was fluctuating and From my research the ECU has a fail safe in that case. The reason I think the bike was stalling in neutral is it was running off the stock air fuel mixture ratio and because of an...
Hey guys starting having a weird problem on my KTM RC 390. Randomly battery died on me for no reason we tried jump starting it, voltage was jumping all over the place and it couldn’t stay on. After messing around with it only thing we found was the negative battery lead bolt was lose we...
I heard Orwell and went paranoid cuz I had an English teacher in highschool who was like diehard 1984 enthusiast and would take any opportunity to talk about it Lmaoo but genuinely I wanna be a safe rider I love riding and it’s brought me a lot of happiness
Insurance indeed sucks but it’s whatever I work a solid full time job and I just found a really nice place for cheap I’m gonna be moving into in November so I’m making it work. The bike is staying Id rather pick up a second job part time if it means I get to keep learning and riding
I’m A okay no issues with me other than a scraped knee. Bikes also in much better condition than I originally feared. Road it yesterday to Scarborough to meet with a buddy of mine so already back to riding
Nah honestly just been riding to work live out just about 3,000km on it in like 2 and a half months first time anything like this has happened to me normally I have no issues in the rain so maybe today was just a mental skill issue whatever it was I’ll try and make sure it doesn’t happen again
Very likely that’s what happened I didn’t think I put too much but then again if I didn’t put too much I’d be at work right now and not with a scratched up bike lol
Didn’t have the go pro mounted at the time so unfortunately y’all only have my word to go off of. I’m not going through my insurance on this one as I don’t think any mechanical repairs will be more than $300. Maybe closer to $1k on cosmetic stuff but that’s stuff I’ll deal with later on I’d...
If anyone has any ideas to add based on what I was able to provide let me know. Just tryna get the clearest idea of what I did and what I could’ve done
