Anyone in Toronto with TuneECU / Knowledge?

Air injection delete is already done (hoses removed and top end openings are blocked off with plugs etc). I was just stressed because I kept hearing a random pop sound that wasn’t in any rhythmic timing with the engine - turns out it is the AI solenoid still activating because the ECU thinks...

Anyone in Toronto with TuneECU / Knowledge?

Don't fix what isn't broken, if it runs fine leave it alone. Seems to run fine! Not in a huge rush. Maybe a winter project for me or something.

Anyone in Toronto with TuneECU / Knowledge?

Prev owner isn’t sure if it was done. Bike runs well I think! Just lots of popping on decel. I tightened exhaust nuts a bit and seemed to improve a little. But if anything it’s running a tad rich so I’m not too worried about it. Maybe will just do it myself whenever I get time to look at it...

Anyone in Toronto with TuneECU / Knowledge?

Hey everyone! I’m looking to turn off the AI solenoid on my 2015 Triumph Scrambler, as well as confirm or upload the correct map for the exhaust that is on it, as I’m not sure if it was done before. I’m totally new to EFI stuff and don’t really wanna mess it up, so was hoping someone may be...

    New (to me) Triumph Scrambler!

Fond memories! :) I hope all is well with you!

    New (to me) Triumph Scrambler!

This bike made it to Newfoundland and back via the previous owner - so it seems you can do some miles on it! Rear suspension is stiff in the city, but I might try to adjust that. Granted, it won't be as comfy as a goldwing, but likely less punishing than a KLR. I'm ok with a little...

    New (to me) Triumph Scrambler!

Just picked up another bike. Bit of a spur of the moment decision, but can't wait to be a little more comfy at higher speeds on my camping trips. First time with EFI since my CBR125 in my first year of riding, so I am excited to have a little less maintenance and more fueling consistency in that...

Thoughts on late 2000s Triumph Scrambler 900

Hmm I don't see a phone number. I shot a message and hopefully they reply though! edit: found it! left a message

Thoughts on late 2000s Triumph Scrambler 900

Those are the ones I'm looking at! Trying to see if the one without pictures will respond. I work not far away so might go look today. Good to hear no issues at 50k+ with your friends :)

Thoughts on late 2000s Triumph Scrambler 900

I am musing about getting a second bike, or replacing the one I have... Possibly... Just feeling things out for now. Looking at an '09 and '11 Triumph Scrambler 900 in Olive/Green. Seem to be around $6k on Kijiji right now. Hoping to get it for $4500-5000 realistically... Love the look, love...

Riding in shorts yes or no???

I have come to the point that in the city on my commute to work (10 mins, maybe 3-4km), I will wear regular jeans instead of my kevlar lined ones, and occasionally a t shirt with no jacket. Always helmet, gloves, and high boots. Today was just too much. I've probably had mild heat stroke on the...

    Gardiner Car Jacking??

Cyclist carjacked woman on Gardiner Expressway, police say It seems like it's every few days that something absolutely bonkers happens in the city lately. The GTA we experience in real life is really starting to feel like the GTA we are used to playing on consoles... Feels like every day we...

    Tipping etiquette

There definitely seems to be a hatred for customers there haha. Though I also hate being a customer so I guess that's why I'm ok with it 😅. I generally have a strong distaste for shopping so if I am going to a store physically, there's a 98% chance I already know what I want and I'll be in and...

    Tipping etiquette

I have a weird relationship with tipping, on a few fronts. I don't make a ton of money, so even when I eat out, it's generally financially unsound for me and is because I either have a lot on my plate, or have no time that day or week. Maybe I was working late on the bike and didn't have time...

    Leaking Front Master Cylinder Cover

That's a good point too. It looks like quite a bit of fluid that came out, but that might just be how it appears. Maybe I will pull it off and try to dry it with a paper towel or something and see if that helps the seal as well.

    Leaking Front Master Cylinder Cover

I will try this out tonight or tomorrow, thanks! Maybe I will give the Chinese Brake Masters a try in that case (if my cover is pooched). Though I think I might have a spare one too - from an even worse off master I pulled off a donor bike - maybe it's flat at least.

    Leaking Front Master Cylinder Cover

Hey all! Finally changed my front brake line to stainless on my 2000 KLR. Feels nice to be able to stop!!! I noticed this issue last year when I topped up my brake fluid, and now it happened again. After riding for a while, I see some fluid leaking up out of the cover at the top. Brake...

    Anyone here a cyclist?

I rode fixed for a pretty long time (throughout all of highschool basically, at my peak cycling fitness). I never understood the brakeless thing. I always ran with a front brake, and it was what actually allowed me to ride in much more risky ways than I otherwise would've been comfortable with...

Summoned for Jury Selection / Duty

Update: I was excused earlier today. I sent them an email explaining my situation (financial hardship), and they requested a copy of my workplace policy outlining that JD is not paid. They were really nice in that respect, I explained that I work at a small business and this is the first time...

Wasn't a great day for a ride yesterday

Got home covered in a layer of slush head to toe last night. That was some sticky snow, wow. Was driving with maybe 10% of my usual visibility - snow was too large and going sideways to ride with lid open, and fogged up instantly when closed. At lights I would just crack it open and wipe the...
