When did pick up trucks turn into cars?

I’ve been driving a 2019 Tundra for the past 4 months. Don’t get me wrong it’s a nice truck. Reliable, drives good, comfortable but it’s a dinosaur compared to anything domestic. Ford, GM and Dodge all know what they’re doing with full size trucks.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Is there a delivery date on the bill of sale? There should be the date when you signed the contract and also a separate delivery date on there. Check the terms and conditions (might be on the backside) regarding delivery times.

When did pick up trucks turn into cars?

Extended cab (door and a half) Tundra is called a double cab and can only get it in SR5 trim. Probably around mid 50’s loaded. Crewmax is full 4 door crew cab.

ATV's - where are the new ones?

@Mad Mike I was at Georgian Bay Yamaha today and asked about ATV’s. They have no inventory right now but the salesman told me he thinks they have a few Kodiak 450’s coming in next month if your still looking. I dealt with Shannon, he was cool to deal with.

    Memorable bike events.

Cool post. I knew Motopark had some GP’s in the 80’s but didn’t know about Mosport. 1976 Canadian 500cc Motocross GP - Legends of Canadian Motocross awesome pic of Roger DeCoster towards the bottom.

    Memorable bike events.

2014 Toronto Supercross. James Stewart's ride that night goes down as one of the best in sx history and to be there was pretty cool. If anyone is interested in sx/mx and hasn't watched it before that race is on youtube.

    COVID and the housing market

@george__ if you don’t mind how old are you? I only ask because from the posts I see on here it seems like your trying to build wealth too fast. You kind of bounce around all over the place, GME, Triplex, Primary residence, Reit’s, I think you even mentioned a storefront with apartment on top...

    COVID and the housing market

I’d go primary residence. If you went the rental route could you swing the mortgage on the rental plus paying rent on the place you live if something went sideways with your tenant? Same with a duplex, if you can carry the mortgage on your own great. No capital gains on primary is awesome. The...

    COVID and the housing market

That's why I don't really think it's a bubble. There is enough current home owners out there with plenty of equity that would rush out to buy something tomorrow if prices dropped by 30%. I think at best inventory comes up a bit and balances things out a little but I don't really see prices go...

Any members here that have sleds too?

@timtune no all done for this year. My brother in law is still running the ice and says it’s decent but I’m out on that at this point in the season. *I doubt anyone is going out there but I should clarify “decent” if you know where your going and don’t mind running some water you can get around...

Any members here that have sleds too?

Your right for sure that it’s to prevent whisky throttle. Blow your feet off the pegs or get out of shape on a bike and you fall off. Do the same on a sled or quad and you’ll be wide open until you hit something. Wouldn’t be a great time on a 160hp sled lol. Munster makes finger throttles for...

One giant leap for electric motorcycles

I would buy a electric MX bike. My criteria would be performs at the same level as a current 250F, 1.5 hour or so run time and priced $2000-$3000 more then a YZ250F or CRF250R. No interest in a watered down trail bike. Also not interested in a electric street bike at this point in time.

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

You can find them. I put a deposit on one Saturday. I will pick it up sometime later this month. @Priller gave you a couple good suggestions where to look. Failing those suggestions, I was at St. Onge last week they had a Blue and a White in the crate, Parkway Yamaha has a Blue one and Dewildt...

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

The guy has been trying to sell that Tenere off and on (mostly on) since last spring. It was one of the bikes from the original shipment. Asking price is too high.

    COVID and the housing market

Your talking about the one in the article posted a few pages back right? I’m bored and got curious so I searched the realtor name and had the house number from the picture in the article to find the old listing. So it’s the 3rd semi to sell on that street since December. $620 December, $675...

    COVID and the housing market

Agreed. I would be in this boat one or two years down the road since moving somewhat North a few months ago. I know I have to be careful and not blow what I'm saving on my mortgage and make sure I save/invest the difference otherwise this move will set me pretty far behind vs just staying where...
