The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

Wow, surprisingly unsurprising. How there are not more "accidents" I'll never know... You should make a site for this, would be interesting to see what people upload.

    Electric Lawn Mower?

Congrats for not being clueless.. Again he used a corded mower for 20 years, I just figured he could continue that way. Just an opinion, we're talking lawn mowers here, settle down.. Lastly 600 may not be an amount someone wants to spend to mow a small lawn. But I got 5 acres to cut so what do...

    Electric Lawn Mower?

No, not kidding. He's been using a corded lawn mower for 20 years, so he has the cord(s) already and obviously know how to use it and has had no issues. Also he can buy almost two for the price of yours and you add an insult.. nice

    Local Auto Thefts

Don't worry about other countries, they don't. They don't even worry about this one.. The only thing I can say for certain is that crime will only continue to escalate here and around the world. It is no longer a matter of IF crime effects you, but WHEN...

    Electric Lawn Mower?

Buy another quality corded mower and have it for another 20 years would be the easiest solution, but what is quality these days?

    How to get 600v

Well so for I know they can only run 600v 3ph not multi-voltage. When he is in the shop next we'll take a good look and figure out exactly what is required. My guess is he can only operate one machine at a time so that is hopefully good news. I'm contacting my hydro company to see what it'll...

    How to get 600v

Again 100% correct, but I would not get proper power unless the rest was 100% guaranteed While machinery is heavy, he moved it into the unit so he can move it here, that would be his responsibility.

    How to get 600v

You're 100% correct, many bridges to cross. But without the proper power the rest is a non issue. I expect this to be 100% accurate I've dealt with 600v for years when I was a technician for industrial pneumatics, I did get shocked once... and only once and it was a valuable lesson..

    How to get 600v

Yeah, need more details on the machines for sure.

    How to get 600v

Yea, if possible I want to keep Hydro out of this as I know the costs would be ridiculous. I'll have to have another discuss to see exactly what he has and what he requires. He is in the unit beside mine currently and thee wiring in this place is questionable at best, but it is 600v as it is in...

    Hearing loss

While only somewhat related to OP's post I figured better to post a reply than start a new thread. I spend about 6-12 hours a week either cutting grass or blowing snow, hearing protection has become important to me as mine is slipping and I have tinnitus. But being on equipment means if I am...
