    Cfmoto models

Saw the 450ss in person. Absolutely amazing looking bike. I seriously could not believe how good it looks. Apparently it was designed by the former lead designer for Ducati and MV Agusta. I’m very curious to see their resale values. The 700CL-X is absolutely fabulous. Sat on it, was surprised...

Insurance History - Taking Bike Off

Ask a buddy to put your name on his policy as a secondary rider. Smaller CC bike etc would be helpful. You simply pay him the cost. Keeps your insurance history intact for a minimal amount.

    For us blind guys

I wear trifocal lenses in my glasses. It takes a bit of getting used to at first, but now it's completely natural. You can probably get them in a bifocal format as well, but the distance to the GPS might be a bit too far for the "reading" part of the lens.

    TV shows currently watching

Ashoka season 1… sure, some people are completely saturated/sick of the whole Star Wars thing.. but this is really well done…

    Everyone striking?

I DESPISE the union that we’re in. I don’t have full time hours as that takes a stupid amount of seniority to achieve. I get paid $5-7 less per hour than full timers, yet have to pay the same amount of union dues, as “we get the same benefits.” As a permanent part-timer, we have to put in for...

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Lucky you... I live in a townhouse and don't have the space to leave the trailer unfolded. Can't get it to the back yard either due to neighbour's trees and stuff.

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

I have one of those. The caster wheels are pretty lousy. Broke one the second time I used it. It folds up nicely enough. There are 4 carriage bolts that need to be installed/removed each time which is a bit of a pain considering their location, but all in all not bad. I used T-nuts to mount...

    CTMP, August 14 Photos

Hello Everyone... A friend of mine was taking photos for much of the day on Monday, August 14 at CTMP. No other days were covered, only August 14. Check out the link below for access to low-res, watermarked images. High res images are available for a fee, and they will all be properly colour...

    Ducati vs Ktm part prices

Haven’t had a long wait on any of the KTM parts I’ve needed to order… But, the most exotic were a gear shift position sensor and a stator. Both were at the dealership within 7 days. Can’t complain about that.

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Saw this monstrosity in person on Saturday at the Hockley General Store… Exhaust sounds good overall, if not a wee bit loud. The rest of it, just no. No. No. No. My heart has been hurting for the poor 749 it began life as.

2023 MotoGP Discussion (No Links - Contains Spoilers!)

Blindly racing into the wet wouldn’t be a wise idea. Follow the leader and see how they react first. Makes sense to Me!

2023 MotoGP Discussion (No Links - Contains Spoilers!)

The GP race was amazing. Lots of action and a long deserved victory for the winner! Haven't seen the other 2 races as of yet.

Protective Gear - Depends VS Tena - The results are in!

Friend of mine was a professional diver/marine biologist. He’s older and retired now. On serious meds to keep heart / lungs from filling with fluids. A diving catheter to a tube/bag or tube to foot is his solution. Works great from what he tells me.

    2023 Buell Hammerhead 1190

It’s a bike from 2014-ish. Neat concept, but just no. Why throw good money at a pretty much dead product?

FAST Riding School - Aug or Sept

Well I can argue track surface quality between Shannonville and Grand bend every single day of the week. Shannonville has a much longer layout overall, but also has serious issues. Lots of concrete patches, water that regularly runs over Allen's corner for 2 days after a rain, hairpin onto the...

My 42-Year-Old Friend Failed His M2 Exam

Starting from a stop, on a hill. Excellent for skill development. The lot in Hamilton has a nice steep hill near the storage container. Fantastic for a stop and go on a hill.

Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

Champions. Starring Woody Harrelson. He’s a college basketball coach that messed up his career and ends up coaching a team of mentally challenged players as part of his mandated community service. Absolutely excellent.

    Help with a punctured tire?

I used a rope plug on my Nissan Frontier mid summer last year. Took the wheels off and replaced with winters… put the same summer tires back on. No issues in about 15K km so far. Have a mushroom plug kit as well, but haven’t used it as of yet.
