Bike is more comfortable lowered. Lovely day - not too warm and very dry. I lied it's 31 but feels like 28.
Personal plumbing is clogged up so have to go in tomorrow to unclog...grrrr $895 but most is covered by insurance. Don't mind the catheter, do mind when it doesn't work. Even the pro could...
Lavi and Ollie have moved up in the vlogger world with very nice camera upgrades. Love the views and 4k is nice to have.
and a new adventure.
Didn't get out on the bike today. Front brake getting fixed tomorrow and a day of socializing plus returning spare luggage options to Amazon.
This interesting beast popped up. Bit of a buzzkill on my fuel mileage but way more power, like seat and the look. Truly retro. $5500 with 4500 km on it. Seat height is fine at 31.7

Almost too low a mileage. Not a likely...
Poking around the bike today I realized there was a rather thick "foot" on the bottom of the kickstand.
Will pull that for now and I took the SItnFly seat off and put my AirHawk on. I've had the foot expander on other bikes and like it but for now will pull it.
Ordered one of these thanks to...
and yur short ;)
The guy that brought the Himalayan over for me to take a look was moaning...he was in his 50s lifelong rider, has 3 kids, bought them all either motorcycles or quads, even one an eBike and not ONE of them was in the least bit interested.
My kid loved two or three wheels since...
Golden hour rocks. The correct lighting even makes ugly sister Vstroms look okay
That's not a golden hour pic tho.
That bike had 120,000 km on it and sold for $3k in Sept. Had good multi-day tours on that.
This golden hour.
Close but no cigar
Too tall, weight is not a factor, side stand IS too long as others riding them discovered, and prefer not to have to deal with being overly cautious on cambers....had quite enough of that with Vstroms.....had a couple near misses on those as well with my short inseam.
Dropping...
There is also one of these floating around for $3k with 4k km.

This is the one for sale. I do like the look.
And I notice the kickstand sits at quite an angle...don't know what BMW was thinking.
More power than the 125 Honda but I...
No event has turned yet....just potential. When I got hit and broke my leg in Canada I was riding a 155 CC Yamaha nMax and it was fine on the QEW.
Given the low speed limits, high fines and my penchant for leisurely riding the Honda 125, which is a full sized bike, it would be adequate and we...
So if the BMW sells and I don't like the Himalayan I can always downsize once more to a 2021 Honda 125 which weighs 120 kg - 30 less than the 300 and just barely gets to highway speed. Okay for very local riding...think it would struggle up the Gillies and the Range road but it would cash out my...
Aside from my excursions to One of a Kind most of which were sold off when I moved to Cairns we are both into space and aircraft prints and lately models.
Stepdotter and Qantas pilot hubby here are Lego collectors...both built and sealed and it appears we've been infected.
We enjoyed doing the...
Well I have a bite on selling the BMW already and the guy selling the Royal Enfield Himalayans has 5 of them so there is a little pool to draw from.
Off road bikes are much easier sells up here than road bikes and I think Royal Enfield not quite established tho there are lots of moto-vloggers...
Hunh - talking about Bayliners and fall weather brought back memories.
October 30th and the kids and I were out on Stoney Lake in short sleeves.
I think that was the year I rode motorcycle every month...maybe 1998...the year that busted all the climate records and cooked the reefs here.....this...
