Near me a guy built a place with an 8 car garage extending out the back, on a lower level, so you couldn't tell it was there from the road. Then for some reason he decided to sell. Lots of people liked the idea, but didn't want to pay the crazy price he thought it was worth
Worked in a hospital as an elevator operator. During slow times I'd jump in a wheelchair and started popping the front. Eventually got to where I could pop it up and balance it, then move around in the hallways, back and forth, turns etc. Freaked out the nurses In ICU a few years later (I was...
I was just up at Woody's cycle near Perth and he is selling an old motorcycle trailer. It's set up for one bike in the middle, or two; one on each side. It has a little ramp and channels for the tires. Low bed for easy loading. It looks really rough, and he banged the wheel wells down in the...

Damn, I think you've got me beat. When I bought my '83 in 2014 it had 850 on the clock as well. Kms, not miles, but 10 years younger. The story is the original owner bought it and parked it in his garage. Never rode it. The second owner bought it to run to Gananoque (from Kingston) on the...
Thanks Roadghost. I stopped at the local Speedy's who I've been dealing with since they rebuilt the whole exhaust on my '64 Rambler and they're going to do exactly that next Monday. The guy for that job is on vacation, so I have to wait.
Yes, most of the crossover is pretty thin. If the first half inch or so from the main pipes is good, I could probably do a fairly solid patch, and do a full rework/replacement next winter. I just don't know anyone here in Kingston capable of such job.
Yeah, I've been contemplating buying a piece of steel from the guys at the local Speedy; they've been good to me in the past and I've known them for years. My concern is if there's enough steel where the crossover connects to the main pipes. Will I just be transferring the problem further...
Well, last week a rock popped up and punched a hole in my crossover pipe on the '83 CM250C. To be fair, there wasn't a lot of metal left in it. I sprayed the studs with penetrant for a couple of days and then on Sunday I got underneath it and pulled the exhaust off. Didn't break a single...
Yeah, as I was packing up to head home yesterday afternoon, there were about 20 guys in the courtyard either playing games or exercising. I'm sure all the weights and bands etc. were well sanitized between users.
Yeah, I had a '80 F150. Almost exactly 16 feet long, with 8' of that being the bed.
Edit. Just checked, and supposedly a new one with a standard cab and 8' bed( if you can buy one) is almost 19'.
