I'm thinking of this thing as well! As the pitch of the chains is similar and assuming the length is similar as well, the only thing different between the 2 chains and how they mount, is the sprocket, in this case, the width of the rollers... hence a 525 chain on a 520 sprocket is slapping from...
The chain tension is ok. If I pull it the way you mention, I do not see the root of the teeth... does it move towards that direction, yes! but not so much as to start to show the root.... yet!
I'm seeing a lot of side to side play on my chain on the rear sprocket.. please see the video attached. Tension looks to be ok. Is this normal behavior or is my chain shot? Chain and sprocket were replaced last season and barely have 2000 miles on them!
I need to show a video in the general motorcycle discussion page.. any ideas how to embed the video into my post? I have the video saved in my harddrive ..how to upload and embed in the topic?
How do you "ride the rear" (no pun intended!)
If it helps, I nail these ramps in my car. Buttery smooth, on rails, perfect entry, perfect exit... I just cant seem to replicate it on the bike.. bike seems to be tipping in more than it needs to.. increasing the speed gives the sensation that I...
I'm still having issues ramping steep banked off ramps... I find bike wants to veer to the inside of the corner...can't maintain a steady line.. my vision is good.. I look far ahead through the corner but I'm 50 pencing it... any suggestions... this happens mainly on heavily banked on or off...
I remember rolling off on my BRAND NEW Ninja 300 , only to go to a coffee shop 10 mins down the road, looking at the other SS and then regretting my purchase ! :P
35, SS owner, Can't wheelie or do a burn out, can't knee down on any corner, Chicken strips that'll make BK blush! not a scuff on the polished, waxed knee pucks or the suit. Bike looks shiny and neat...
Fits my stereo type... :p
16k for test riding the 2020 WSBK AND MOTOGP bike is a ridiculously cheap offer! Try that deal for a ride in an F1 car... they' will laugh you off the track!
If you dump the MOTOGP bike running out the pitlane, that's 16 grand in damages right there!
