I came across some leaves on the ground today while putting my foot down to stop and wow was it slippery. Nearly caught me off-guard.
just wanted to give people a heads up since some trees here are dropping their leaves already, to be careful around them Especially when stopping and cornering.
Just my perspective as both a motorcyclist, bicyclist and cager. Driving a vehicle in the city is getting to be very complicated for the following reasons.
- pedestrians entering the roadway without even looking up from their phones. they should be checking traffic and making eye contact but...
If they are based on plate number that would explain it. In cars you get a small price of paper that you put on your dash.
Many of the bikes I see parked overnight have covers so you can’t see a sticker plate.
I took my M test on an 80 cc scooter but that was a long time ago. Was fun to watch the guys on big bikes struggling to walk a figure eight with their heavy bikes while I practically carried my bike around.

i see lots of bikes parked overnight and long term on the street without permits, but the city’s website looks like the rules do not exempt motorcycles form the 3 hour limit or overnight parking without permit.
