The bottles are designed to be poured the other way to allow it to be tilted more before the oil comes out, which you can also see in the video.
I use a funnel so it doesn't matter to me.
Plastic bag.I try to avoid funnels whenever possible - they seem to attract gunk while sitting so I always end up having to wipe them down and force some paper towel through them before using in order to not feel like the oil I'm pouring isn't carrying all that crud right into the engine.
And then when you're done they drip for hours.
I use something like this for when I only need a litre or two. Lid snaps over funnel to keep it clean between uses. Measure into funnel, put hose in fill port, open valve at base of funnel. If you don't want drips, put the lid on the bottom of the hose when you're done. It is annoying if you need to do something like a car with 5 litres so I don't use it for that. For cars I often roll paper into a cone to make a funnel and then throw the paper out after.I try to avoid funnels whenever possible - they seem to attract gunk while sitting so I always end up having to wipe them down and force some paper towel through them before using in order to not feel like the oil I'm pouring isn't carrying all that crud right into the engine.

The jug is half empty. If you're just topping up from a half empty container upside down is moot.
No this picture does not bother me at all.
