We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

I've had hit and miss QC with Challenger.
They're okay in an O/U, but in my M2 or a pump...They have had a tendency jump or slip past the magazine retainer.
Not always, but... enough to convince me to spend the $ on good ol' AAs.
Hummisons is good... For me it's usually Lawrey's...

Lawreys is pretty much beside my Distribution Operations center. Nice people . I'll agree the QC at challenger can be spotty , they had a run of about a million rounds last yr with defective wads , knew about it , but sort of let it slide. I'll buy AA super target in 20 and 28g because you can reload them . No economy in reloading 12's ....yet

No economy in reloading 12's ....yet

'Been that way a long time.
I never got into shot shell loading... 'Not enough room on the bench for another press.🤪
On the other hand... I can't remember the last time I bought "factory" pistol/rifle ammo.

They have enough charges to make thier case, except nutters like this get a lifetime ban on owning firearms , and they have no paperwork for what they have now so ….. around we go .

Friend that inherited her parents guns , some rifles and shotguns , asked for help over the weekend to move them along , she’s had them fifteen yrs and has no paperwork. Says it’s time , yeah lol. So while we are standing in a circle chatting another guy says , I’ve got my dad’s farm guns , no paperwork. Another guy says , me too . So I now know at least six people , guns , no permits . How many are out there ?

Lots. There is a good chance that many guns in similar situations are not properly secured too as safes are heavy to move and gun furniture doesn't fit in most people's decor anymore. That leaves a dufflebag of guns (and likely ammo) in a lot of houses.

exactly , one group is wraped in a blanket under a guest bed and two standing in spare room closets. A few are stuck in the exposed floor joists in a basement . Ive been in said unfinished basement , its probably safe to assume those guys are a rusty mess now .

Not too long ago, the typical method of storage was on a rack over the fireplace. There are millions of such implements in rural homes across the country. (BTW, I'm looking for a lever action .22)

If the news is to believed , the new liberal plan may be to ban all semiautomatic weapons . Say good buy to your 12g semi auto duck gun . Since those 3 round magazines are so dangerous .

That alone should be enough to secure 50% of the votes in Canada. Even if they don't got that far, Carney has pledged to follow JT's path of banning out of fear with no concerns about reality. The mind boggles.

guy turned up this am for skeet shooting , he had the last 52 flats of winchester AA 12g/8oz Hummason had in inventory loaded in the back of his truck. New stock will have the 25% sporting goods tarrif . I said geez thats a 6 thousand dollar investment in shells , he laughed and said , better than 8 thousand in a few weeks . ok then lol .

You're confusing hunting regulations with the law on mag capacity.
Going by SAAMI specs. you can easily load 7 rounds into a legal five round tube fed semi auto shotgun that has a 3" chamber.
'Common with the IPSC shotgun crowd.
7 in the mag, 1 on the lifter, 1 in the chamber.
Total starting capacity... 9 rounds.

This Saturday

No I’m not confusing hunting regs with mag capacity , in a debate with PP vs Carney the idea of semi automatic guns came up , and Carney alluded to a ban on all semi automatic weapons including shotguns .

3 Rounds is the limit for "hunting" with a semi auto shotgun. In Ontario anyway.
The legal limit for any centre fire semi auto is 5.
I mention 7, cuz 7 2.75" shells will legally fit into a shotgun that has a 3" chamber.
Maybe Carney thinks semi shottys are in need of a ban because...
Doing the math.... a 12ga semi l legally loaded with 9 rounds of 8 pellet buckshot arguably has more firepower than a 9mm sub machine gun.
Your standard 9mm MP5 has a cyclic rate of 800 rounds/minute or... 13 rounds per second.
It would take about 2.5 seconds to empty a 30 round mp5 magazine.
A practiced shooter could easily empty the shotgun in 2.5 to 3 seconds sending 72 projectiles of roughly the same caliber down range.
Reloads would be slower sure, but initially the shotgun beats the MP5 by twice the volume of fire.

Don't try to bring logic into this. It is very clear the libs plan is almost entirely based on "guns are scary".
