Yeah, I didn't think I could find one anywhere now but thought I'd ask...I need a new mattress for sure...
We bought a decent one at COSTCO. So much better than our 15 year old mattress we had previously.
After seeing some stuff in century home I spoke to my 90+ year old uncle and he confirmed that it was common to see a 16' long 2X4 as a rafter, full span. Sometimes the walls bowed out and the roofs looked like ski jumps. Try that with the lumber of today.
It's great. I have some back issues and love.
Where would you buy one? @GreyGhost is not far off. We bought this bed in '85. We're on our third bladder. They wear out.
Logan and Cove (luxury firm) for us and we love it as well.

Modern trusses are 2x4, no different lumber than they used 100 years ago.
Bowed walls has nothing to do with rafter lumber, that’s caused by the way rafters are tied together.

We have a Douglas Summit too. No complaints other than I can’t tell the difference between sleeping on a Douglas and the $179 Amazon special I’ve been sleeping on for the last week.
They weren't trusses or tied.

Poor construction is the cause of a lot of building failures. Builders have known how to build properly structured roofs for centuries.
A sagging roof is a sign of poor design, not light materials.

How about the support columns having a footing that was a flat rock down about a foot? It lasted 90 years and the new code made it look like a tank barrier.

Yep. We rented a trailer last summer that came with an insanely comfortable mattress both my wife and I loved. When we returned it, we asked what brand it was, expecting some high-dollar memory foam/gel whatever. The owner laughed and said everyone who comes back with the rental asks the same thing, but that she bought it off Amazon for a hundred bucks and couldn't remember the brand.
Part of me wonders about the off gassing from a cheapo mattress, but I suspect the foam is identical to whatever fancier brands are out there, minus the branding, marketing and overheads...
We got ours in 2021 and they only had one model back then available in either medium plush or luxury firm choices. I'm 230lbs and wife is 120lbs. Side sleepers.

He was hoping to double or triple his money on a studio condo he bought for $855K? That was some strong kool-aid. Maybe poor wording and he was hoping to double or triple his 85K deposit? Still crazy short-term but plausible if you bought at the right time (which he didn't).
What is the intrinsic value of anything, the price point where you can't lose? Vintage cars, yachts, raw land, gold, crypto, motorcycles, body parts?
BOC interest rate of a fraction of a percent? Someone took advantage of legal marijuana.
Bitcoin is bouncing around like a ping pong ball in a tornado. YTD not good.
Is gold making a comeback, IF it's purity can be trusted?
