Indeed. It seems like we at least escaped tons of new salt being thrown down in my direct neck of the woods with todays flash freeze, that would have sucked. I suspect they coated the 35/115 again though as there was snow blowing across it this afternoon.
Finally got enough snow melted/out of the driveway that the bike can squeeze by the truck without me having to pull one vehicle out to get to the other. Normal winter errands on two wheels should resume for the first time in a few weeks now that it isn't a two vehicle shuffle to go for a ride.
Ugh, that reminds me - my 2007 Acura has a Y2K-like clock issue, so since 2021 I've had to disconnect power and reconnect at 1:00 (only clock I've ever seen that doesn't reset to 12:00). Apparently, the lastest navigation update DVD from 2023 is supposed to have a fix, but it's always out of stock.
"Honda’s head unit receives a GPS signal for date and time including a number representing a week, coded in binary. These digits count from 0-1024 and rollover to 0 after the completion of week 1024. Honda’s head unit supplier did not code their head units to account for the rollover and, on January 1, 2022, reverted to a date and time 1024 weeks in the past."

I’m off to the North tomorrow for my winter vacation. I did my part for Team Canada by switching from boating to sledding, fishing the Gulf of America from Fort Myers to fishing the Matagami in Timmins.

Somebody was out riding a little Kawasaki at 3:00 this morning on Stouffville Rd., in a raging snow storm. After smacking it up he left it on the side of the road for the entire day. That's his mirror on the road behind it. My ride is in the background.

Went to start the bike, fired up right away. I didn't bother with battery tender, or fuel stabilizer. Seems good to go if tomorrow is nice. Me not sure if I remember what I need to do to ride it....
